Hello! I feel I’m at a point in the game where if I go down a difficulty level, it’ll be too easy. I feel it’s a bit to easy now… But I’ve tried going up a difficulty… And I can’t even seem to come in second to last… I come last against the A.I every time when I go up a difficulty. Now, I’ve had experience with forza games, but Horizon 3 has been one of the first games with tuning since I had Horizon 2 on xbox 360… So I know tuning’s a HUGE part of the game, but I simply don’t understand how it works. I’ve never been able to grasp the concept. I’m assuming a good tune might make things a bit easier when going up a difficulty.
So, what’s the best tuning car for an all around good car on road and the hotwheels DLC. Also, does anyone got a super good tune for such a car? Thanks! (Not looking for an offroad/rally car)
wrx or evo are pretty good all rounders for the normal map ive only driven the hot wheels cars on the hot wheel dlc but they seem good
Find a car you can drive well without tuning and that is the best car for you to learn about tuning.
You need to have a consistent and proper driving style before you can really understand the effects of tuning.
In older versions of Forza there would be a few cars with insane tunes that would always dominate. But things are moderated now and many cars can get you into the top 5% or 10% of the leader boards. For FH3, AWD is better, it’s just how they tweaked the physics this time.
The mistake I see my friends make when they begin this type of game is everyone wants to get into a 240 MPH car and rage around a race track. For long term gains and knowledge, it really helps to start in the lowest/slowest class. Only drive that class and soon it won’t feel slow. Learn the tracks, perfect your driving style, then work your way up the classes. Make only small changes in tuning, older versions of Forza sometimes required major tuning changes but now many cars a very decent as is.
