Putting this image here in case someone’s curious about what FR5189 looks like.

And yes, it’s got a crankshaft-driven supercharger just like the 4 1/2 Litre Blower.

Putting in a couple more out there

1926 Bentley 3-Litre 100MPH Super Sport, skiff/boattailed body by Surbico

Background: One of 18 Super Sport 3-Litre cars built by Bentley, as well as one of 10 still extant, this one was given a one-off boattailed body by obscure Surrey-based coachbuilder Surbico for Eastborne butcher Henry Leeson.

1919 Bentley EXP 2

Background: This was one of the three EXP prototypes built by Bentley in the early days. Built at Bentley’s works in Cricklewood, EXP 2 was showcased at the 1919 Olympia Motor Show with a plain body. Due to the late arrival of some components, it was a static display model at the show. It was then re-bodied by J.H. Easter in March 1921, with its experimental engine swapped out for a spare TT engine in 1922 and again that year in August with production engine no. 144. Before it was sold to lorry manufacturer J.E. Foden in 1923, EXP 2 achieved success on the circuit as Bentley’s first works racer from 1921 to 1922, with eleven 1st place finishes and seven 2nd place finishes. In the 1990s, the car was given a complete rebuild, restored to its original 1921 race-winning works specs. It is known today as the oldest surviving Bentley car in the world.
