I have had and played every forza from FM2, i have enjoyed every one in their own ways.
However! They have all had their individual downfalls, i dont think ANYTHING compares to the ammount of people in the drift hopper just trying their best to ruin the game for anyone drifting!
I was soo glad to have a drift hopper. Only to go on and get wrecked by ‘2017 Renault R.S. 17’
I can live with the bigs and the crashing… i cannot deal with these people who set out to ruin such a long awaited game.
A f1 car being eligable for a drift lobby is crazy anyway. As if anyone is ever going to use them seriously.
I knew as soon as i read 'all rwd cars eligable’that i was in for frustration and hate for public online drifting, again!
Yep. No reason to allow any non standard vehicle in the drifting competitions. No one would ever think of drifting any vehicle that is not on an approved list… [/sarcasm]
There does, but if the last 10 years are anything to go by, Forza is not the place for such a system to exist.
If you want more control over who and what should be in a Drift Lobby, you can either take it to Private Lobbies or play a different game, as Forza’s pretty much set in its ways when it comes to Public Multiplayer.
The fact that the menus in this game are so terrible and slow, makes it a hassle to vote kick someone.
If I want to swap car and vote kick someone, I might not have time to do both bcuz of how laggy the menus are.
I was kind of happy I could use the F1 car.
Because people don’t kick, I had to take matters into my own hands and chose the F1 car to keep the A**hat in the 2017 Ford GT from hitting everyone.
WE need a homologated drift hopper to go along with the unlimited one.
I come to the forums to post the very same thread. i find it so annoying. had 2 in the same lobby, one in F1 and the other was in the truck.
i vote to kick both and also report both gamertags, to see one of them had the reputation of avoid this player ! . ( why did i get put in the same lobby,xbox live reputation matching)
Yes i know there is drifting trucks etc but they shouldnt be in these lobbies. ruins the game for me
As much as i agree that some vehicles do not belong in these drift lobbies, like the F1 car, MB truck and the Limo i think its probably better to have some kind of system where BadRep players get placed in their own domain with other BadRep players, like how some game shadowban cheaters to prevent them from buying the game again to just start cheating again. They get placed in a cheaterpool where they get to play other trolls and cheaters.
thats what i meant, i thought xbox live had a system like this in place, one of the rammers gamertag had a bad reputation and it said avoid this player
Too bad they have all game control and decide not to do anything, at least they can do is make it where if you have an 999 you are perma ghosted. I wish they did what other games have done in the past with regards to the percentage of you using a specific type class car and throw your a** in a lobby with only other people doing the same thing and troll the people ruining their game and let them duke it out. Sad that its probably one small line of code that could disable 999’s I mean there is no excuse of not being able to block them in pubs because if they can make it an RWD only pub they can sure as hell throw a X on an disabled list right next to AWD/FWD. It will never stop tho, getting rid of them X’s won’t take the problem away because people will just start getting in track toys or 1000 hp ACR’s ect.
I know the chances of getting rid are so very slim! But as you have said, it is probably something that was easy to fix on their side…
Although, x class ghosting or ‘avoid this player’ ghosting should be a thing!
