B Class Porsche Cayenne

Hey everyone. It’s been a long time since I fired up FM6. I have played FH3 quite a bit. Hence my 1st tune is a Porsche Cayenne. I tuned it on Brands Hatch Indy and was able to land it #25 in it’s Division and it is currently the highest Cayenne on that track. Next one is sitting at 151. I could only muster a 52.8 and Division #1 is 51.5. Took it to Rio Mountain and snagged #6 in it’s division with a 46.3 and #1 is a 45.6.

If you are interested take it for a spin n drop me some feedback. Not very grippy but quick.

Great time on that little car at both tracks Crucian! And, nice job with the build & tune.

I gave your Cayenne 12 laps, and, only tested at BHI. Chased down my ghost (@ 51.282) In addition, I ran 3 additional variations to see if I could further my lap time. Here are the results…

Ran all 4…
53.052 (as-is, your DL tune), 12 laps
53.105 (same identical build, added tune), 6 laps
53.097 (Build #2, added tune), 6 laps
53.059 (Rear Tire Upgrade), 6 laps

Pretty much all same.

Build # 2 = same weight (yet shows better stats…lol…), no need for larger rims, use stock, street flywheel and heaviest rim.

The only concern I had with your tune (and, not sure if you have RH set at min) was a little hard to turn and did not like even if I got close to rumble strips (almost flipping over).

Again, great job on it!

Thanks HLPRKid! I set out to break the build into the Division’s top 100 seeing as I had not tuned for FM6 in quite some time. For me, FM6 tuning and driving is different than FH3 and so I’m getting ready for FM7 off and on. About 2 seconds off your pace is a lot and I would be much further back if the Division was more populated.

RH is 3 or 4 above min in front and 4 notches higher in rear. It’s an SUB so min height all around should be doable.

I’m a bit out of touch with damping settings. With more time I’m sure I could dial it in to roll over curbs and handle well. Definitely has room for improvement.

Now, turning… Initial response, keeping your line, or just turning overall was difficult? I haven’t been on but, I’ll test your suggestions when I am. Thanks again! That makes two sets of suggestions to try out.

Thanks Crucian!

On the Ride Height, I’d certainly go Min/Min, since the SUV’s of course have high CG heights it would be good to bring that down to help stay closer to ground as possible. Should help with turns.

I was hard to both keep my line, and, seemed I was getting mid-corner and corner-exit understeer. Maybe to your point around damping, it could help with getting the Cayenne to turn better.
