Keep an eye on the Forzathon Shop - normally it shows a countdown timer for the week, but today’s timer has only 21 hours left.

Witches hat and nose a Halloween exclusive, maybe?

Yey! I’ve been waiting a year for these as I missed them last time! LOL

Perfect setup! And what about people f.e. as me, currently not at home? Without access to xbox? The same as daily challenges?

Thanx again!

I heard PG will give you the Halloween items anyway as part of a new equality campaign.
In the same campaign every American family will be sending candy to everyone around the world who couldn’t be there to trick or treat at their door.

This is a known issue, but the system for checking available cars for a season event from the Festival Playlist menu is not very helpful.
For example, this week’s community championship is the B class “David vs Goliath”, but many of the cars in this category are lower than the B class, so they are not listed in the list of cars available for this event. Hmm.
I hope that they will correct the list of available cars in future updates and also show cars whose stock PI is below the specified class.

Hope I’m understanding you correctly… but can’t you just upgrade a car to B Class? There is even a section that allows you to automatically upgrade to a specific class.

Well, what I wanted to explain is a list of cars that are available for season events that can be seen from the Festival Playlist menu.
This list does not show cars that have lower stock PIs than the designated class and need to be upgraded to participate.
For example, this week’s community championship only shows Transit FE and MB Racing Truck.
Therefore, if many of the cars in that category have a lower PI in stock than the designated class for the season event, those cars cannot be confirmed from the list. (* This is not a list of owned cars)

If it is a category that can be narrowed down from the sort menu like “Rod & Custom”, there is no problem with this system. However, there are many subcategories in this game that cannot be confirmed from garages, such as “David vs Goliath”.
There are only two ways to see which cars belong to these subcategories in the game. One is to create a blueprint event and check it from the event rule settings screen.
The other is the Festival Playlist menu.
However, the latter often did not work with the problems mentioned above and I was going to complain about this.
It seems that it was strange English because I use web translation. I’m sorry.

Got it! And I see the dilemma. Thankfully ManteoMax has posted our options.

nb3254 is referring to how the seasonal event displays eligible cars. There are 40 cars in the David vs. Goliath theme, but since the seasonal event only shows your cars that are currently eligible (either stock or upgraded to B class), it doesn’t show you the D and C class cars you might own that could be upgraded to become eligible, and Buy Cars won’t show you the Exclusive models that could be eligible.

Below is the full David vs. Goliath list of cars from the Blueprint menu. I’ve separated the eight vehicles that are too high to fit into B class, but the Durango and Ranger can be detuned from A to B. The rest are D, C, and B class.

1958 Austin-Healey Sprite MkI

I’ve rearranged my previous post a bit to indicate the cars that are actually eligible for the David vs. Goliath event. The Durango and Ranger start in A class but can be swapped to RWD and brought down to B. The Durango should be able to do 170mph, which may be effective on the third race in the championship but I just went with an upgraded Manx.

Iirc I was able to get the Durango to B class without RWD swapping. But then I RWD swapped it anyway just for funnsies.

It ended up being way better and easier to drive than I expected, used it for 2 of the races.

@ManteoMax it’s great that you add this list to the forum, because as you say the game doesn’t provide a full list of available cars in these unique categories. Can you please pass on to the developers that there needs to be a way, in game, to get the full list of potentially eligible cars in an event’s category? I see this as a significant flaw that the game doesn’t allow us to know what cars are eligible in unique categories. Some categories are relatively easy to figure out (Italian RWD, Australian manufacturers etc). but other categories like David and Goliath, are impossible to understand in-game.

They’re not, but they’re stupidly hidden.
These Categories (David vs Goliath, Minicar Mayhem, Lambo vs Ferrari etc.) are hidden in the Blueprint Menu.
You would have to know that

  1. That you can create blueprints with these specific parameters
  2. That you can see all eligible cars in that menu

How to fail at fixing something:
Fix only one usecase of it.
Weekly failed to recognize my car AGAIN!
Second week in a row, plus first weekly after the update.

Worked fine for me. Try restarting the game, or reboot your console.

What didn’t work was when I’d made it all the way to 3 of the 4 Offroad events on Fortune Island, and decided to do the last one in Lego Valley. It didn’t register. I did another event, and it still didn’t register. I went back to the mainland and did an event there, and it finally kicked in.

Thank you for your help, did work after buying another one.
My problem is that this happened before.
U13 Spring,
The 3-11 weekly was bugged, had to buy another one.
But i don’t know if that was related or not.

Can’t wait to take the Divo out and whip it good!
