The Audi S3 8L really deserves to be in Forza.
I know it may look like “just an old Audi hatchback” to some people, but that is exactly the problem. This car has been overlooked for years, even though it is one of the most obvious Audis missing from the game.
It was the first S3. Not a later version, not a modern RS model, not another huge power car. The original one.
A small 3-door Audi with quattro, the 1.8T 20V engine, manual gearbox, wide arches, Recaro interior and that clean late 90s Audi look. It was not loud or dramatic, but that was the point. It had that old Audi feeling: solid, simple, fast enough, and built with purpose.
This car is part of the same era people already love in Forza. Imprezas, Evos, Golf R32s, old BMWs, old Mercedes, Japanese icons, hot hatches, tuner cars. The S3 8L belongs with them. It is strange that the first S3, the car that started the S3 name, still does not have proper representation.
There is a lot of negligence around this model in games. The newer S3 and RS3 models get attention, but the 8L is the one that made the badge mean something in the first place. For many people in Europe, this was one of those cars you saw and immediately knew it was special, even if it did not scream about it.
It would also fit Forza perfectly. Stock, tuned, period-correct builds, OEM+ builds, 1.8T power builds, rally-inspired setups, clean street builds. It has everything a Forza car needs.
I’ve had A3 8L and S5 3.0TFSI, then sold the A3 8L and got the S3 8L… And, oh boy…
It has been my favorite car for the last 3 years..
Please add the 1999-2003 Audi S3 8L. It is not just another Audi request. It is a missing piece of Audi history.
