The first model designed around Aston Martin’s newly introduced V12 engine, the Vanquish brought the iconic British firm into the 21st century. That has its downsides, like the automated manual gearbox, but also many upsides. The chassis is aluminium, with a carbon fiber backbone, developed by Lotus. The engine develops 520 hp in the Vanquish S configuration, which also received a new front splitter and an optional Sports Dynamic Package, including stiffer suspension, revised steering, and larger brakes. There was also a one-off roadster by Zagato, and a one-off shooting brake by Bertone. Recently, the car’s designer Ian Callum has announced plans to bring back the Vanquish, releasing a run of 25 updated variants of one of his favourite designs. The power is up to 580 hp, and a manual transmission is offered by Aston Martin Works. Both cars deserved to be in Forza, as they are important parts of Aston Martin’s history.

2001 V12 Vanquish was last featured in FM4. It needs a fresh rework for it to return to the new Forza titles.

It’s now coming back in the new Motorsport, so we can expect for it to join Horizon afterwards…

A little fun fact tho: It was one of the James Bond cars from the movie “Die Another Day” back in 2002, where it was driven by an actor named Pierce Brosnan.

If they keep it up like this FM8 will have a car list as awesome as FM4!

Aston Martin offered owners a factory conversion to manual. Didn’t even cost that much, about £25,000. Which I think is a steal considering AM does it themselves and it will also increase the value of the car.

Guess there goes my hopes they would add the improved Vanquish S.

Yup, bringing cars back from FM4 is a great opportunity. Bringing more of ‘em back will be much more better!

That FM4 model is seriously deformed and outdated. Hopefully, we get a fully refreshed in game.

Hopefully, they’ll add it soon. Vanquish S produces 520HP from its improved 5.9 V12.

Yes, I hope so too! only if it really IS rescanned or something… It has disappeared from Forza universe for 12 years.

Honestly!!! This is the best car list since FM4 so far! All it’s missing are some really everyday cheap cars, and we’re missing a lot more classic cars too. :pensive:

The V12 Vanquish S is super underrated and not in a lot of games

Unfortunately, the V12 Vanquish reused the outdated model from FM4 when it returned to FM23.

In that case, the powerful V12 Vanquish S will be on its own new model.

2005 V12 Vanquish S

This is a facelifted, yet powerful version of the 1st-gen Vanquish, with refreshed styling and engine upgrade.

It has an upgraded 5.9 AM06 V12 engine producing 520HP and it only gets the 6-speed Automatic. Compared to the standard Vanquish that produces 460HP.

Although, the '01 V12 Vanquish is already in-game, I guess we want to ask for its powerful version to come. And the normal Vanquish in-game also had the same Automatic gearbox provided.

It needs a perfect model accuracy, either fully LHD or RHD. Because I found evidence that in FM1, it is fully LHD, and then in FM2-FM4 and FM 2023, it got shifted to RHD without a model change, leaving its windshield wipers to the LHD position, resulting to a minor model inaccuracy or maybe the entire model persisted since FM1. So I’m hoping that V12 Vanquish S will have its standalone model quality. Last picture explains it.

Still one of the most beautiful GTs ever made imo, especially that front end.
