I was watching the Forza Monthly stream yesterday and something piqued my attention.
At 47:40 (on the YouTube stream), Connor said that the three Hot Wheels cars (Bad to the Blade, Deora II, and Baja Bone Shaker) would only be available in the expansion.
Does this mean that those cars will be locked to the expansion and not available on the main map? Or is this just some weird wording?
The Lego cars were only available in the Lego Expansion but could be driven on regular roads too. So I suppose this is the same.
They probably mean you have to own the dlc to use the cars.
Means that you can only own them if you own the expansion
Broooo they have an expansion to sell. What did you expect lol
It just means that only people who own the expansion can use them.
So if you were to sell them on the auction house for example, only people who own the expansion could buy them.
I would rather they not show up at all on the main map…nothing was worse than having a regular s2 race with a freaking Lego Senna and Lego Chiron amongst a field of normal cars. It killed the experience.
Hotwheels cars are OK, we already have Hotwheel cars on the map anyway. They shouldn’t be in regular races however.
Just for you I’m gonna drive one of them EVERYWHERE.
Hi RacerBoy09, that segment chose to highlight three of the ten cars included in the Expansion DLC, but all ten work the same; they can be driven on the Hot Wheels map and on the main map. Likewise the rest of the FH5 roster can be driven on the Hot Wheels map.
Conor was just giving the heads up that the Deora II, Bad to the Blade, and Baja Bone Shaker do require ownership of the Expansion (either as part of a Premium bundle or as separate purchase) in order to drive them.
Good to know, then. Thanks for the clarification.
