Anybody know of a steering wheel that doesn't require pedals? I broke my back legs are paralized

I am looking for a racing wheel for xbox one that does nor require the foot pedals. I had a cool logitec one that had paddles for the gas and brake for my ps3. I don’t mind buying one that comes with the pedals I just do not want to be required to use them.

Logitech Driving Force Wireless looks like the best bet.
Is that the one you had?

If you still have it, you might want to try one of the converters which makes controllers work cross platform.
I do not know if they work properly (never used one) but you can always check the comments, reviews, etc.

A few promising ones I have found;

  • Max Race F-1
  • Cronus Device
  • CronusMax

There are also some console racing equipment tuners who make adapters for using a wheel from one company and a pedal from another…
They might have a better (more professional) solution for you but you have to Google a bit and check out the console racing forums.

I’ve been wondering about this myself. On the PS3 I had a G27 that I mapped the gas and brake to the paddles. I haven’t done a lot of research as of yet, still deciding what will be my main platform, Xbox 1 or PS 4. Waiting till Project cars comes out and reviews on the One. Right now Im on the One. I want to stick with the Xbox if PC gets good reviews. (Im a ps3 GT 5/6 refugee and prefer the Forza series more )

Do the current compatible Xbox One wheels (Thrustmaster) have configurable/mappable paddles? I haven’t seen a lot of information about that.

Ideally I would like to map the paddles for gas and brake and use the ABXY buttons for manual with clutch, gas-left paddle Brake-right paddle-shift up with clutch A&B Shift Down-X, might to too much to do with just two hands for shifting down using A/X though.

Oh then having to buy a new Wheelstand Pro or upgrade the base/mount.
