I noticed that some of the players have their level badge in certain colours and that others have them in bronze, silver, gold. I know that the coloured ones are in the earlier levels, but what about the latter three? For example mine is in silver and I am level 138. I have seen higher level players with bronze and lower level players with gold, so I don’t really understand how it works. Could someone care to explain? Thank you.
PS: I haven’t played PvP so I doubt it is related to that (given I have a silver badge already).
It depends on what prestige level you are on. There is a star and number that denotes the prestige level of a player. As you reach higher prestige levels (more stars), it takes a higher level to reach the next prestige. The Bronze, Silver, and Gold (as well as all the other colors) correlate to how close you are to reaching the next prestige level (as a percentage of that specific prestige level). Therefore people with a higher prestige level (star with number that follows the level badge) require a higher level to get to each subsequent colored badge. Each time you reach the next prestige it starts you over at level 1 followed by your new prestige star level.
No star = 200 levels (200 total level ups)
*1 = 300 levels (500 total level ups)
*2 = 400 levels (900 total level ups)
*3 = 500 levels (1,400 total level ups)
*4 = 600 levels (2,000 total level ups)
*5 = 750 levels (2,750 total level ups)
*6 = 850 levels (3,600 total level ups)
*7 = 900 levels (4,500 total level ups)
*8 = 1000 levels (5,500 total level ups)
*9 = 1500 levels (7,000 total level ups)
*10 = 2999 levels (9,999 total level ups)
