So I did 50 laps on suzuka with the gtr fe. With a VIP mod on. I got 0 credits for this race. VIP mod showed one use though.
I asked on Reddit and I am not the only one that has had this happen to them.
Half of my races in free play are not giving me credits for racing.

Bump I only get credits for races with just 1 lap.
hmm… I done 2x 3 lap races in Free Play… one in the Ford Crown Vic that you get from the Showdown, and another in the Nismo GT-R LM you can get from Speciality Dealer for the time being, both gave me some decent $$$ for a 3 lap race. Some reason, didn’t get AI difficulty bonus even though I got it set to +40% $$$
I haven’t tried a 3 lap race, I’ve tried 1 - 10 - 50. I’ve played 50 3 times and have gotten 0 credits. 10 is it or miss. 1 credits will always be given.
It’s more annoying when you lose the VIP card for it.
Had the same thing happen to me - 50 laps on Suzuka with the gtr. After the race it didn’t go to the credits screen and just moved onto the next race. Lost the VIP mod too. Worked fine if I did 10 laps.
I think I may have found a way to fix this, make sure that you choose quit race when you finish and not next race
I am like others who have had problems with lengthy laps and quitting directly after a race dosn’t work. Sorry
Are you guys using Super Easy mode? You wont get credits for that.

using super easy braking and steering on longer races (more than 5 or 6 laps) means you don’t get any credits or XP. Renting a car instead of using one from your garage means you won’t get any credits or XP at all.
