Since update 3.0, I get an error code when launching “AP205: Failed to create D3D12 graphics device”
becase turn10 add DX12 Enhanced Barriers feature but the gcn gpu driver dosn’t support it.
Recently I found Adrenalin Edition 22.6.1 Support Enhanced Barriers feature and I can enter the game again

I use rx vega56 and it works for me. It didn’t launch before either.

I’m on a 7900XTX and I really got a lot of trouble at the start of the game. I’ve evend did a post about black texture on the track happening far too often. Now I’m using the 24.2.1 and all is going fine and I no longer to crashing problems and/or black texture bugs. As for the the lastest 24.3.1 give a lot of problem not only with FM but with a lot of games so I got the feeling that a good share of trouble come from AMD as well as T10.

It should generally work for you by default. You have a suitable video card. We are talking about GCN gpu users.
Yes, it’s not just about Turn10. But they could have sorted out the situation instead of ignoring the users of their product. And yes, it’s about AMD too.
This is not the 90s, when there were many GPU manufacturers (I’ve living for a long time, I’m 47), now there are (surprise!) only two.

I can confirm that AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 23.10.01.14 made the game work once again. I am using a AMD RX580. Thanks a lot!!
