No, not banned I would believe. You would have an in-game message telling you the length of the ban if that happened.
Probably a server-side error, and you need to send the details with “Feature disabled” in the Subject line at forzafb@microsoft.com. They’ll need to check on the server to see what is going on. Make sure you included all gamertags on your Xbox 360 so they can fully investigate.
