Alfa Romeo Arna
The Alfa Romeo Arna (Type 920) is a hatchback produced in Italy by Alfa Romeo Nissan Autoveicoli S.p.A. between 1983 and 1987. This company was a 50:50 joint venture between Alfa Romeo and Nissan, the car used the basic body shell of the Nissan Pulsar (aka as Nissan/Datsun Cherry Nissan Pulsar 1978-1982 (N10/N11) in Europe) with visual tweaks to the front, rear and interior as well as a number of technical changes including use of the Alfasud boxer engines.
Alfa Romeo Arna 1.2 SL (5 door launch model, the 3 door was badged Arna L)
Alfa Romeo Arna 1.3 TI (later ‘sporty’ version also with the Alfasud boxer engine)
Nissan Cherry Europe 1.5 GTI (Nissan dealers in selected countries - e.g. UK - were also allowed to sell a version of the Italian built Arna but badged as a Nissan and without Alfa Romeo’s shield badge in the front grille)
