I appreciate the effort put into the narrator feature for visually impaired drivers, but I believe it could use some improvements.
Right now, the narrator reads out entire menus and detailed track section scores while driving, which can be overwhelming. I’d love to see an even more in depth option that allows players to customize what the narrator announces. Personally, I’d prefer a streamlined mode that focuses only on:
My current position in the race
Any penalties I receive
The current lap and total laps
The gear my car is in
Having this level of customization would make the experience much more accessible and less distracting. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option to fine-tune the narrator in this way right now. Or at least I haven’t found it going through the menu.
Would anyone else find this helpful? Hopefully, the developers can consider adding a more customizable narrator in a future update!
