2nd Opinion S class Aventador LP700-4

Hey I’ve been tuning my own cars for Forza 5, usually just kinda good enough to be competitive in lobbies only winning if catching a break or a weaker lobby. Haven’t really shared any tunes cause I didn’t think they were quite good enough but I managed to make one that I think is decent enough to share and would just like a second opinion on it. I Tuned it on the Catalunya Grand Prix and was able to run a clean 1.51.916 (steering normal, manual without clutch).

I didn’t fine tune it for any track and use it as a general S class car. If you got some spare time and want to give me your opinion on the tune it would be very much appreciated. You can find it by searching for the following

Giving it a run now.

Ok! First off very nice job on the tune. It was very stable and very easy to drive. Turn in was great and turn exits were clean. Well done. I have no suggestions to improve your tune settings. The build could possibly be a different story. You may wish to experiment with it. After running your tune I ran mine to compare. The first thing I noticed was the difference in the builds. Mine has 805hp and yours has 769. My torque is 556 and yours is 530. And finally my weight is 3021 and yours is 3047. As you can see my build has more torque and hp while still reducing weight. You can make a build that’s just faster without having to change your tune very much, if at all. The difference between your tune and mine was consistently about .6 seconds for me. Mine was faster. And not because of the tune. I think your actual tune might have been better than mine. I really think if you’re able to tinker with the build you’ll be a bit faster with it.

Hope this helps. Again, very nice and smooth tune.

One thing I forgot to mention. You could also experiment with using less downforce. If I remember correctly I have the front maxed out but the rear is not. If you can lessen the downforce while not sacrificing your grip and handling you’ll gain a little speed.

Wow! thanks a lot.

Was trying to mess with the gearing to give it a bit more speed but nothing was really working. Yeah I was definitely a little too generous on the downforce I’ll see what I can change on the build to knock a little time off.

Thanks again

Hey Tyrant, ran you tune on Catalunya tonight. With your build I hit a 1.50.1 at high and averaged around 1.50.5

The tune in itself is nice. Very stable and easy to drive. I run no TCS and I was not losing any time coming out of the corners.

It was slightly stiff going over the rumble strips, you might want to reduce your bump and stiffen the rebound.

The build could use some tweaking. I would never use the Cams unless it was the last option to build out the engine or you were building specifically for a very long high RPM track like Lemans or the Nurnberg ring.

Always use the Race exhaust first as it adds good HP/Torque and reduces a lot of weight. Also the full intake manifold does this too.

My own build is about 90 lbs lighter than yours with more torque, as well as lighter wheels. In mine I was hitting 1.49.5s and I would say that was due to a lighter build with more torque.

Overall it is a very solid tune. Nice work.

Also don’t reduce the down force especially on a track like Catalunya.

I run mine at max like 90% of the time.

Very few tracks will benefit from abit less DF as you really make all your time up in braking and cornering. Especially when you are making a general lobby tune. If you were fine tuning for one track it may grab you a tenth or two here and there. But that’s only if the track has really high speed areas.

Damn Your quick! also noticed you ran a 1.47 on a F50 near the top of the LB… props man that’s impressive

I changed the build to make it a fair bit lighter and tweaked the bump and rebound and was able to cut a second off my time! Thanks so much for your help. I think it’s probably about as good as I can make it at this point and if I fiddle with it without any supervision I’ll probably just make it worse.

shared it as Aventi 2 for you or anyone else who’s interested.
Thanks again!

Hey nice results! Glad I could help abit. Ill grab the new version next time I am on and give it a spin.
