25 million fans now what...

So I hit 25 million fans and did my final upgrade to the last festival. And now I see you we don’t gain any more fans. Which basically makes all the photos zones, photo traps, drift zones, and a couple other things like the danger zones not really worth doing. There’s basically no kick back for those and no point in even going to do them at all. I don’t really care about getting 3 stars if I don’t get something usable in the game. Is anybody else experiencing this kind of… well, now what feeling?

I noticed what you raise ie 25 mill cap but no it did not stop me getting 3 stars. You still get skill points for what you do and there is an achievement for it.

A lot of those activities can be fun.

Attacking the leaderboard can be fun.

While true, doing another 189 races just for the championship achievement seems wrong :stuck_out_tongue: , Nothing else to do, no more fans, Levels mean nothing, and max skills already aswell.

Actually, there’s an achievement for getting 3 stars on all PR stunts. So yes, there’s still an incentive to keep trying for 3 star PR stunts. But yeah, I wished there were no cap on fans.

Would it really matter if you could get more fans? It’s just a number, you wouldn’t unlock anything.

I get what you’re saying, but it still would be another fun statistic to compare with other players, and the 25m fan cap kinda ruins that for me.

I agree, would be fun to keep increasing the value just for bragging rights and comparing to friends. And after all, fans is also displayed on the lineup you recruit.

You get more fans. it just doesn’t show you. But if you go to stats you’ll see you gain them at same levels per race when it showed.

I personally think it should show the fans gained. I was kind of let down when it stopped showing until I realized I was still gaining

Are you sure? I kept looking at my stats and my fan count won’t budge. I’m stuck at just over 25.1 million fans.

Bunch of you replied with…you still get achievements and such. And it’s not like I want a huge statistical number of fans. It would just be nice if doing those events gave other incentives. And I’m surprised I was able to reach 25 million fans so easily with still more than half of the things on the map left to do and after only a week and a half of playing the game.

I guess many of you missed the point. I play racing games because I enjoy racing. I could care two bits about achievements and cheesy garbage like that they’ve attached to games to try to promote people to play. I play them because I like them and they’re entertaining. Seeing a bunch of stars on the screen as our achievements. Now if they want to give me credits or XP that help me level up, which in turn gets me more cars and credits there’s a reason. But comparing achievement scores between friends is something that elementary school kids do.

I find no motivation in any kind of little perky garbage like that. I know a lot of other people do because there’s some feeling of success in reaching those things. But if you’re really trying to feel better about yourself because of achievements you are playing games for the wrong reason in my opinion.

I suppose we all get enjoyment in a different way. I race games because I can’t afford to buy a $2000000 Aston Martin Vulcan. Some people probably like to get achievements because it makes them feel good getting cute little gold stars on their calendar.

BTW please don’t be offended by my opinions, they’re just mine and probably differ from yours. I came from an era when there were no such things as achievements in games and you played them for the sheer enjoyment. So when a part of the game significantly drops the ball in that regard, then I question its purpose.

Well, fans are, really nothing more than “perky garbage” to be honest, like the skill points, they just help you unlock things within the game. After you get all the perks, and all the fans, you don’t need to keep getting them.

Just keep playing the game, it is the same even without the fans.

Totally get u but the horizon games aren’t what u would truly class as a racing game. They are more like open world car cruises made more for fun and extravagance than actual racing. The majority of us will continue to use forza 6 for that racing fix.

I have 26.7m fans in my stats. I’m doing new championships and I did a bunch of drift zones. So maybe it only gives them to you for new stuff, dunno. But I’ve been increasing fans since the 25mil.

The entire Australian population is just over 24 million …

The United States can send their prison population over as well if it helps. With the Queens permission of course.

:stuck_out_tongue: I kid, I kid…

Ah that’s why we needed to also bring across US police cars

…Overseas fans maybe.

I figure the fan limit will go up when we have expansions. Hopefully the mountains we see to the west - the blue mountains?

For now it just annoys me that the game hub records over 25 million based on how many you got in the last event that counted … can’t climb back up that leaderboard lol.

well i guess they will increase the max fan limit with the first expansion. the question is: will we get the lost fans that are going over the 25mil limit now or should we wait with the unfinished events.

25 million fans now what… ?

Short answer: ANNA will annoy you to the death, that there is a event nearby, where you can gain more fans and want to set a route. :expressionless:
