Noticed few bugs with 2017 911 RSR, first there’s no rear view display, there’s a holder for it in the interior but somehow the display itself is not where it should be Another thing (albeit not critical) are stop lights, they should light up like the ones in 911 GT2RS, in RSR only top bar is lighting up, and the last thing - there are no markings under buttons on the steering wheel.
The Castrol Honda Civic Touring Car used in the Endurance Race in the Seeker Championship has broken lights on the Rev Limiter. Only the first two green lights work. Don’t tell me that’s supposed to be an ‘authentic electrical issue.’
I’m guessing that there’s some difference between the forzavista modelling of the car - it being pretty much static - and the rendering of the car interior in a race with a load of things going on - so they cut a few corners to get it work.
Also the comparison pic of a Porsche on a track at night, compared to it in forza during the daytime - not too surprising the lights aren’t as bright.
Sometimes these immersion things puzzle me - if you’re inside the car worrying about the detail on the steering wheel, why is how the exterior brake lights show an issue.
I drive bumper cam so see neither, but each to their own.
Gee Idunno…because I pay for finished product? Assetto Corsa could do that, Gran Turismo Sport could do that so I guess FM7 is up to the task to model brake lights correctly (BTW it’s not about brightness it’s about lighting up correct parts of taillights), especially if they have some sort of “special deal” with Porsche. Same thing with 2017 919 – put a wrong display on the steering wheel when you literally have the car in your lobby.
Something else that irks me with this car, and at least the C7.R (as well as a few other race cars I imagine), is the incorrect modeling of the lock-up lights on the dash as a second set of shift lights. They should only light up when the brakes are locking, not to show engine revs.
Its turn10 what do you expect. Those bugs are NOT GONNA BE fixed and i bet those same bugs gonna be on fm8 too.
Look at zonda r steering wheel example, its like that from the launch, i point that out many many times and they just dont care.
Koenigsegg one:1 have same messed up steeeing wheel like it was in fh3.
So if there is a bug in car then it wont be fixed because they dont care, their focus is adding suvs and pickups.
