I requested to join, sent messages, joined the facebook page about 6 months ago, I follow the action on Facebook but as much as I try to find races or join a nightly race I can’t find it. capt nasties is one of “my Friends”… I searched for our club, thought cool here we go. Clicked on the club to hopefully race… Got an error that I must join to enter? would love to race with you guys but need to guidance as to how. FYI… I am not a newb to the XBox and know how to maneuver around and quite proficient with the system. Your assistance and guidance are appreciated.

Thank you.

We have recently moved to our own dedicated forum at 2old4forza.com. That is where you will find more info on our events.

Sorry for the troubles, i will make a point to connect with you on XBL and get you involved. typically you will need to have whom ever is hosting a race on your friends list so you can join on them to get into the party and game.

my recommendation is to get in to a game by joining on me and friend request as many people as possible in the lobby. once you have everyone on your friend list it is very easy to get into the races.

Thanks guys, appreciate the advice and guidance.

Good day to you all and here is the next installation of the evolving 2O4F Podium Report. Grab your coffee and your reading glasses and hang in for a relatively ordinary edition of the past week in 2Old4Forza racing.

  • Sundays (8pm GMT) Gizzies MX5 Cup! -
Racing is under way for this euro series. Last week saw a group on yanks join for the racing action. There were 14 entries and HLR King Cobra would reel in the win. Johnnyfocus chasing KC for the second place and MasterBigChief finalizing the podium for last Sundays brawl. Looked to be a great race between the top 3 with only 1 second between the top 2 at the line. Racing will be back again this evening for a 20 lap race at Catalunya GP. Good luck and have a great race!!

  • Sunday 9pm est - Go Go Godzillas! -
Tonight is round 2 at Sonoma and Spa. We tested at Spa and proved to be interesting. Last week saw Long Beach and a disaster in turn 1 which left most of the field getting back in line and working to get back up front but it would be FV Electric avoiding the catastrophe and running to the checkers with Drivebye collecting his concentration after getting turned sideways in said wreck and chasing Electric for the 2nd spot. FV Lucky1 would also get a good finish in the final podium of the race. Race 2…Catalunya. The race took off much better and it was a field of battles. Nightstalker would have electric beating his bumper for the win but he would not choke on this day, taking the flag for the victory donuts. Electric would finish 2nd and MasterBigChief would round out the final podium for the night. Godzilla racing returns tonight, should be some good racing and maybe Xbox will let me save the replays so we can get some pictures in here for next week.

  • Tuesdays 930pm est - 2.5 SCCA B Sedan series -
This week (2/28) had a race at VIR Grand East and Road America. I was unable to attend due to illness but here is what I can determine from the results: Drivebye has put some laps (although sideways) at VIR and his track knowledge would pay off as he took the win slide partner Capn Nasties chasing for the 2nd and MasterBigChief taking 3rd. Road America would have Jay Waite bringin homemthe win on his return tour while MasterBigChief would capitalize some more points for 2nd and drivebye staying on the podium for 3rd. This series has been allot of fun and I can guarantee that next week at Lime Rock and Prague Reverse will prove to be tough but intense races.s

  • Wednesdays 9pm est - NASfreeginCAR boys!!
This week the racers took on Catalunya and Watkins Glen short. FV Lucky1 would take down the checkers at Catalunya and TestierWheat would follow in 2nd. Electric would keep the consistency with a 3rd place. Watkins short would have series presenter Lord Sarverious cary the field home with the win while Electric looked for a spot to pass and would cross the line in 2nd. FV Lucky1 would also stay on the report with a 3rd place finish. The final races are this week at Bathurst and Daytona. Boogity Boogity Boogity!!!

  • Race Car Series/RCS Season 16/17 - Thursdays 9pm est
The All Star race was held this week. Pros and ProAM racers get together for a night of racing in one lobby. Triple G would add in qualifying and grid ordering with the new update. From some of the comments, it appears to have been a success. Triple G would qualy 1st and take the checkers. MasterBigChief tried to take the pole with under 1/10th of a second back. He would also chase GGG for the 2nd place finish. Electric would qualify 3rd and finish 3rd overall. ProAMs FAA LS1 Patrick would be the 1st PA to cross the line with Federal Hercules and Parcells crossing in that order. All in all a field of 18 would take to the track. I have always enjoyed the theory of Pros and ProAM lobbies getting together for a non points race, there are allot of great racers and personalities and with no points on the line, it can make for a great club night. Those who did not or were not qualified to attend got an extra night to paint their car for season 17. On that note, there are several who have not posted their livery for Grims spotters guide. Please see the forum under season 17 topic to see what he needs and get to it. Grim puts allot of effort into these and he only needs a picture of your car so check the thread and post yer pic PLEASE!

See the official events thread for pictures, videos, slammed spread sheets and all the other usual stabbings.

Season 17 features the Nissan GTR Motul Nismo super GT and as we back to RWD, should be a great season. From the livery pics so far, it will be a good looking field. Please get replays and let me know they are shared so I can get pics for upcoming reports.

WEEKLY Hot Lap Challenge: run by Pryde300ZX and Lord Sarverious:

So…. The Monster. X Class at the ring. I myself struggle with X Class (2O4Xclass) but managed a S class clean lap time to participate (no trophy needed). Participation was low, guess ya scared off this time Pryde. LOL Hats off to GTFoot for taking his tune to the 374th spot. Ronron would tabernac his Peugot around the Monster as well.

Never fear, next weeks challenge should be posted shortly. Keep checking the thread for the next challenge.

Don’t forget to check out BurntGuys recaps found in the official events threads on the forums to witness some of the action as it happened. He is also looking to add some new commentaries and voices. Contact Burnt Guy if you would like to help him with commentating a race. As always, keep your eye out for his videos and thanx to burnt guy for putting that effort in for the club. There is allot of personal time / work goes into these so give him a like or comment when you get a chance to watch one.

If you have a tune, livery or driver you would like spotlighted, drop me a message on xbox live and I will feature it in the next news letter.
If you have a photo you would like featured in the Podium report, again send me a message on xbox live and I will get it featured in the respective area. Any series or random photos from weekly events are welcomed and would be a great addition to this thread,

As always,
Thanx to anyone and everyone who takes the time to actually read any of this, and as always have fun and good luck on the track. You might find your GT and livery in…….The Podium Report.]Quentin2O4F
