Awesome job Wan, thanks for sharing.

Yeah, as I was telling Smoke, I can’t really get it there either. Sorry guys, I didn’t vet the LR enough.

Got your new time on.

CFunk,

I think that that man be my final time on the challenge.

I may compete more in it, but I just recently got the Porsche and Hoonigan Car Pack.

So, thanks this challenge has been fun!

Thanks for joining Orange, you still have plenty of time to come back and make more runs.

Wow!! I am slow!! Lol. It’s been a while since I headed down under. Been spending a lot of time in the garage and in the strip in FM7. I checked out the Rossler Transmission website and started testing their gear ratios on the strip, street and track. I’m still clinging to the belief that stuff like that can work. Also have been trying to see if I can disprove the Forza world raise the ride height all the way in drag thing. Just looks dumb, lol. Sorry, got rambling!

Anyway, I built and tuned up CFunks Jeep. I looked for a prebuilt shared tune but didn’t see one so I went ahead and shared one. It’s just as written up by CFunk so if one would like to save some time, it’s all set and waiting for you. Hope that’s alright Funk.

You can tell I’m stalling right? I mean it is a great track. Full of trees and jungle. Rivers and foliage. Just beautiful. I’m sure it would be a lovely place to visit someday. Ok, I’ll stop.

I ran a 2:42.963 in the Jeep Rubicon. Got a pic saved for future posting when I get in the ol’ Laptop. I think(hope) I can improve that time with some more time on the track. I’ll give the LR a shot in a little bit. If it’s alright or isn’t already done, I will build up what you’ve written and share that as well.

Great choice of car/track Funk!!

Glad you could take some time and run some sprints back at the Festival DZ!

I try to find a vehicle’s actual gear ratios as well, heck my tune’s for this challenge use the IRL final drive for the respected car. I changed the rest, but the FD is supposedly it’s real life counterpart.

I don’t mind you sharing the tune DZ, I probably would, but the tune limit in game really annoys me and my laziness is well documented.

Good time DZ, looking forward to seeing you improve on it.

Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. Glad you like the course/car, I like it as well.

Got you on the Board.

Haha CostlessCape. Same exact thing happens to me.

“Avoid water!”

“What, they didn’t tell you about the rocks either? Or the trees?”

“Did they mention the fences.”

CFunk- Thanks for another great challenge! Best clean time so far is the Jeep in 2:28.448. I know there is more time in the long water section, but can’t seem to get through clean any quicker- Going to watch a few activity feeds to and hopefully get a few more runs in. Enjoyed the LR too, even though it is slower, always been a fan of the Defender 90

I was running the LR at first and really wanted it to be quick enough, but the Jeep has the edge for sure. I’m still having a go at this and if I improve my time I’ll try to remember to post it on my feed so you have another to watch

Thanks Smoke! Forgot to mention used C’s original tune with tires at 38

I finally got a chance to run this and managed a nice and clean 2:34.747. I used xDeaDxZeppLiNx-CFunk’s Tune.

BTW: I used the jeep, not sure you can see it in the picture since its camouflaged.

Sorry for not updating sooner guys, but I have updated everything now.

Just about a week left, this one closes the 18th.

CC, Orange and Smoke, thanks for keeping at it a little while longer to try and improve.

And thanks to the new entries of Oheimer and TJ, welcome to another challenge.

I can see your pic TJ, but you know there is supposed to be a vehicle in the shot as well!

Thanks CFunk

I’m probably going to give one or two more runs at it, but I have been working on some things…

Doing some fine tuning, testing some cars…

It is hard to test though, but I’m getting faster.

I can handle to bumpy road, but the loud horn screws me up.

Trust me though. In the end, I will be fast…

But for now, I’m not fast enough…

(If none of you got any of that, those were hints)

I’m struggling with this one CFunk, i can’t keep on that river bank, and when i do, a damn tree or rock jumps out at me lol, i’m not giving up yet though :slightly_smiling_face:

Me too Wan. Spent an hour or so last night back in the Jeep, once I was ahead of CFunk on river exit but those damned rocks! Couldn’t improve my time any further, but will try some more before you close it up. Keep at it!

 Good luck Wan, you can do it!!

Same to you Smoke, good luck and you can do it!!

Nice job Tarry, I got you updated!

Thanks for keeping at it and for sharing your tune numbers.

Thanks for your rival TJ6Seven. I improved my time. Got 2:36.590. Made some changes to my tune to improve my time. Final drive 5.86 third gear 1.23 4th gear 0.98 5th gear 0.80 6th gear 0.72. Damping rebound 8.4 front & rear and Bump stiffness 7.7 front & rear I guess the key is to tune your ride to be jumpy but not too jumpy like a kangaroo if you know what I mean.

Yee haa beat TJ6Seven with time of 2:33.620 I changed my tire pressure both front & rear to 41. Put my tune in my storefront. I want to thank the painters for their designs. This is a fun challenge when you stay away from the trees and rocks.

Tarry, Guess what…

I agree Tarry, this is a fun one. I used the same tune as last time. Thanks again CF for setting these up.
