What’s up ladies and gents, hope you stick around for my next offering.

This time I’m going to change things up a lit…quite a bit! :slight_smile: But if you will read through my nonsense and actually participate, a good time and credits can be had! :slight_smile:

A Street Car With Tires Challenge

Okay, now for this go around FH3 we are going to use any car you can get to fit in the parameters. I know sounds cool right?!?! But you know me, I’m going to give you the junk like ole Eddie Harris in Major League! :slight_smile: The parameters are explained in the Build and Tune section.

A couple of things here:

– The Build is listed below, use it, please don’t alter. That is the challenge. –
– The Tune I used is also listed, but you do not have to use it, this you can change all you want. –
– Everybody that posts a time will be awarded 1 million credits. –
– Everybody that beats my time will be awarded another 1 million credits. –
– Use the Honor System, you don’t have to post pics of times, or replays, just tell me what you got in a post and I will keep track with a Leader Board below. –
– The End Date is TBD, I will run this for a while until a new idea pops up. :slight_smile: –
– Not necessary, but by all means post some pics if you want. –
– I do have more credits to distribute after all is done, and along with the Trivia Game there is potential for everybody come away with some nice spending money. –
– 1mC for each photo (up to three) that you post here with a paint of this car by a [1BTM] member. :slight_smile: –

SPECIAL – For this challenge only, I will also award 1mC for every pic with a paint from xDeaDxZeppLiNx that you post. This is in addition to the 1mC for a BTM paint. – SPECIAL

BUILD AND TUNE

CAR

–Class has to stay in B
–No Conversions
–You MUST equip every STREET part that is available.
–No adjustable Forza Aero allowed (all other Appearance parts are legal)
–Any wheels and any size and width of tires are legal, but you must have STREET tire compound.

RACE

–Surfer’s Paradise - Street Race - Beachside Blast
–Must run the actual race.
–Must win the race.
–Clean times are not important, just your times.

What I mean is, you will find a car that you can install every STREET part that is listed. If the first listed part is the Sport version, then I call the Stock part the STREET version and the car is legal.

If the first listed part is the Race version, then the I consider car’s Stock part the Sport version and the car is not legal.

You may not install the Forza aero parts, but everything else is fine.

You can use any wheel you choose in any sizes you choose, but must have the STREET compound installed.

Oh, and you have to keep it in B Class. :slight_smile:

For the race, you just join the mentioned event and run it. Doesn’t matter what Difficulty, but you do have to win.

Clean times do not matter, just your time. Do you run with the harder AI to hope they take the turns better and maybe draft them, or make them as easy as possible to get them out of the way? It doesn’t matter, just get to the end in 1st place. :slight_smile:

Thanks Zepp, Tj and all the BTM members for the paints :slight_smile:

CFunk, the rules are interesting although it took me 10 heck minutes to digest all of 'em :3 I feel like there would be high chance for players to overlook 1 or 2 parts thus picking a wrong car :stuck_out_tongue:

Also 2 more things:

  1. U should remove the “only clean times count” at very beginning of the listed rules. Probably a copy-paste mistake.
  2. If a car for instance donse’t have front anti-roll bar upgrade option cuz it’s adjustable in stock form, should i consider it as having equipped a Race part? Similar concern for transmission, engine and other parts as well (adjustable or not).

Done, and yep it was left over from a copy/paste.

Yes, I consider that a Race part.

And yes, there has to be a Street part option, or the first option is the Sport version. If the first part listed to install is the Sport part, then I consider the Stock part the Street version and that is what we are after here.

The only thing your can “tune” is the pressure of tires, everything else should be grayed out and not accessible. I know that really isn’t tuning, and changes things up from my normal challenge, but I thought it would be good to shake things up. :slight_smile:

Managed a 2:39.7XX run (forgot exact time) with a 673PI Torana in Rivals (not sure if I should do it in proper race instead as u mentioned u must win a race). This car probably a little bit overpowered among the Muscles still :stuck_out_tongue:
I may record a video for a precise record time after more practise. Can’t “make” a ghost anymore :3

Helloooo all,
have just recently arrived in Australia and plan on joining in on the festivities but first I need to build my Surfers Paradise Festival … hopefully I worded that correctly … so with any luck I should be able to set a time before CFunk ends the FUN. Been watching y’all since the beginning so will be terrific to finally join in.

Sweet! I’ll give it a run with the Trans-Am build first, then I’ll have a go at building something and see if I can beat whatever time I do in the Pontiac.
