1999 BMW #15 Motorsport V12 LMR - Driver's hands clip through wheel

Hi guys,

So, I found this horrible bug in Forza 7, where the driver’s hands clip through the wheel and don’t move at all.
No shifting animation, nothing. They just stay there and only move along with the wheel’s motion.

Has anyone seen this? I never noticed this in any previous Forza games, but in Forza 7 I noticed it with at least another car (Porsche - can’t remember the model), where the driver’s hands grabbed the wheel like LEGO hands. The hands didn’t actually grabbed the wheel, just grazed it.

This looks like a bug from a low budget game, not one like Forza. I really hope they patch this, because this BMW is one of my favorites to drive, so far.

The cars rear and front wheels also clip through the body work sometimes. Looks very poor.

There are, unfortunately, a LOT of cars with clipping issues, gear shift animation’s not working, or working incorrectly, and some cars where the camera is set too low and you can see part of the driver’s neck at the bottom of the screen. Cockpit view in a lot of cars is quite awful at the moment.

The only thing you can do is report it as a bug with the specific car and views in question. Saying a lot of cars have bugs doesn’t help much.

It’s unfortunate that other cars have this issue. I mostly play with cockpit view, save for the occasional bump cam when it’s raining or the car has a narrow cockpit view (Prototypes).
I’m enjoying the game so far as a whole, but in some areas it feels that the game was rushed and would’ve benefited a lot from a few more months in development.

Also, the driver’s arms pretty much go through the car’s body on the Renault R.S.17 F1.

It’s a shame, because it kills the inmersion aspect durnig F1 races on cockpit mode

I wanted to make a megathread with all these bugs for easy reference as it’s hard to catch all the scattered threads in the forums. Doing Turn 10’s beta testing for them will be annoying, though.

What’s interesting is that I haven’t yet come across any physics bugs, it’s always graphic/UI-related even though the whole code of a car is carried over from one game to another sometimes.

In other games there seems to be the opposite, more physics bugs instead.
