11 x 100 %XP mods within an hour? YES! (Porsche DLC required)

Maybe someone is interested how to get up to 11-12 x 100 XP mods in just 1 hour? All you need is the Porsche Expansion Pack!
IF so,try this:

Go to career, get in the GT3 4.0 and do the first race,3 laps of Hockenheim. You’ll get beside the XP and credits 2 mod cards, one for a special track and a 100% XP mod card.
Collect them and re-start the race… repeat it as often as you want, you’ll always get the mods.
Works also with the #45 on Catalunya and the 718 at Watkins Glen. There must be two others, but i’ve forgotten where they are.

Unless I misfigured it, each lap of Nurburgring Full nets 12,000. doubling that with the 100% increase gives 24,000.
Each leveling up needs 15,000 points and 25 levels results in 375,000 total necessary going from 0.

375,000/24000 yields a bit over 15.6 laps, so I figure 15 laps and a few more points (15,000) or just do the 16 laps and get it over with.

Please correct me if I have this figured wrong. I plan on doing one of these self created ‘endurance’ races later tonight or tomorrow, so I will know if my numbers are correct.

As stated in another response, I already have 30 of the 88 manuf at level 25 so currently have 58 to go so I figure I will need 58 100% cards. And yes, Turn 10 will probably have more DLC with more manufacturers, but as of the May DLC, there are 88 total.

It is a little wonky, it is 12,000 xp per lap overall but it changes slightly depending on laps run. 10 laps will give 120,000 xp but 20 laps does not give 240,000. I made a spreadsheet for it at home, changing the race by 1 lap and havin 1 100% card in place to see the total. it is also 372,000 xp to go from 0 to 25 affinity. For the most part you can get full affinity with 9 laps and 3 100% cards

It is 11500 per lap.

The XP per lap ratio can vary slightly depending on the lap count. For Nurburgring Full, doing either 1 or 10 laps is best since you get 12,000 XP per lap. Any other lap count will result in slightly fewer XP per lap.

I finished career (before Porsche Pack been released,Barney  )and invested a lot of my credits on mod packs after i got all cars, guess i have 70 big mods left…

Thanks for this heads up. Since I have finished most of what I am able to do in terms of the achievements (missing the finish 1st start in 24th in multi player and the tuning one) and the badges (I have reached platinum in very nearly all of the categories - major exception being tuning) my current goal is to get max affinity for all of the manufacturers. I currently have max for 30 of them.

I had 9 of the 100% affinity xp boost card, and given that I still have 58 more to go being able to get enough of the 100% boost cards will cut the time needed to finish this task significantly.

PS… You literally made my Forza day!

EDIT: DUMB ME!!! I forgpt I could use more than one boost at a time. (It took a second reading of what you were saying to get it… duh!)

At 11 minutes per lap in B class, I could have saved almost an hour had I used 2 boosts. So It is definitely worth it to use more than one, given that we can get 11 boosts per hour by racing the Porches ahead of time. Thanks for repeating it for me. Glad I figured it out before I did any more long races.

fast review:
races in Porsche career always reward the same rewards after finishing, just like any other races
and there’s some relatively short races reward something like +100% XP, +7000 driver XP…
u know what to do, enjoy ur privilege for paying 20$

anyone who finished the Porsche career know the details of such races?

The 718 one at Watkins Glen is 4 laps, and gives a 100% Driver Level XP card, and the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 one at Hockenhiemring is 3 laps, and gives a 100% all XP card. I imagine the #45 one gives the 100% Affinity card, but I am not for sure, as I haven’t raced that one since I went through the Porsche Career. I ran the other two tonight to gain some All XP or Affinity XP cards. I always delete any Driver Level XP ones as I am over Driver Level 600 now, and don’t really need them.

As a side note, if you have the NASCAR Expansion, there are some races in that Expansion that have the same rewards for Mod Cards, though I’m not for sure which ones give what mods. But it’s setup just like the Porsche Career in that aspect. And I prefer the NASCAR ones anyway, because the 718 handles like crap, and the GT3 RS 4.0 tries to take off to the sky on every upshift because there is no front weight to it. At least the NASCAR stock Cars handle similar to other RWD cars of the same weight range… Maybe even better as the NASCAR cars have standard Aero mods, Front splitter and rear spoiler. Add that to the wider standard tires, that equals better handling, and when boosting 100% XP cards, I’d prefer better handling cars…

But, the NASCAR races are longer than the Porsche ones. But for a NASCAR nut like me, I say “Bring it on!!!” lol

Just looking for affinity, do not need driver level, do not need the cash…

No I worked it all out , it the rounding that is scewing the end xp.

Every track has a base xp per lap. The more the lap the more xp you get, the faster you lap the faster you get the same xp if the laps are the same.

The overall xp is rounded at a rate of from
0 -10k xp is rounded to 100 xp
10k-100k xp is rounded to 1000xp
100k+ xp is rounded to 10000xp.

xp per lap is 92/8

So to work out how much a track is per lap is the pick the laps what will give you closest to the point just before is starts rounding ten times worse. I am currently working on every tracks xp per lap and also gathering the data for #1 non glitched time to work out the xp per second of each track.

The ring +gp is a pretty bad track for going for affinity 0 -25 because of the rounding of hitting 93k xp. (93/11.5=8.087 laps.) You would only need 8.1 laps so you do 9.

Fair enough. If there were no rounding off your estimate would be about right. But because it is rounded off, the XP per lap ratio varies a bit by lap count, so doing either 1 or 10 laps is best since you get 12,000 XP per lap.

Recently completed the Porsche expansion so took note of the races which gave those 100% mod cards. I tested with 718 RS and 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and managed to get duplicate mod cards so I guess this still works…
