Hello there my fabulous Forza Family. My name is Éire I’m from Ireland. Ever since I my parents bought me my PlayStation 2 back in the day and played my first ever racing game Need for Speed Underground 1. Now mind you I’ve had a passion for cars ever since watching Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear back in 1992 (I know a long time ago lol).

Let’s speed into the future I’ve got a huge collection of car games in both disk and achievement. I have to say that Racing games have come in leaps and bounds over the years.

When the Series X was announced and Horizon 5 was just round the corner this “ray tracing” concept was floating round. Now to be honest with you I was like “ya another gimmick” until I booted up Horizon 5 (early acces mind you lol). I was blown away even the loading screen where you see the mountain and then the forest with ACTUAL sunbeams coming through the branches of the trees, the sun reflecting off the puddles on the roads and the muddy potholes off road then the cars glistening off the sun beating down. To the rain detail on the body of the car, how it ran down the windscreen in cockpit view.

Then Motorsport was announced, launched and wow the detail here is amazing. First off the weather it looks almost photo realistic. The clouds and seeing the sun dip in and out causing dynamic shadows. The rain physics my Gosh when it’s a deluge you feel like you’re not only fighting the car but also the flooded track it’s awesome!! The new Hakone track at night is where it hits hard with me. My Gosh it’s breathtaking how the neons reflect off the car, track and other racers is something other world like. Just a fabulous game.

The cars, the selection of modes, the races, the views, the things to do, the huge support in games (Sad to see Horizon 4 being delisted), the care in each game, the fact you listen to your community and the whole Forza Family as a whole is why I am glad to be a Forza Fan!
