I have done my due diligence and search for this topic, The only entry returned was a mention of it a tokens.
Why does the accelerator use real time not game time? I was playing F5 when my brother came online and wanted to play, now forgive me for “cursing” in the forum, COD:Ghosts. I gamed with him for about 3 hours. I came back to F% and my accelerator was finished even though I had only played for about 15 minutes. Has this happened to anyone else or is the by design? If it is by design then I can live with it. I just want to know if it is.
I always hoped that it was an over site but since it has never been patched yet it must be by design. Its the only game ive ever seen with a xp accelerator that does it this way. Considering the good 4-5 minutes of loading the game does before and after a race its a pretty disheartening design decision to have been made. So my suggestion is if your going to use it again just stay in the same race, dont go back to the menu just restart or if its rivals keep racing. You have to start and finish a race before the timer runs out. If the xp timer runs out before you finish the race you dont get the double points, another horrible design choice.
Wow that’s a terrible design for something that costs real world money to use. Way to botch it up T10. Then again, super clever way to get people’s money on the sly but people will catch on.
People already have caught on that’s why there was the over the top economy adjustments a few weeks after the game came out. I guess when they made this and many other design choices that their “small group of people that can’t be bothered playing the game but have disposable income” was smaller than they thought (not the exact quote but that was the gist of it)
