Hi guys,
I recently upgraded to the XBox One X, Forza Motorsport 7 was working fine up until a week or two ago, not sure exactly when. I’ve done the usual, changed DNS servers to Google, uninstalled FM7 and reinstalled and also done a console reset to no avail. Location is Australia using TPG as the ISP and a D-Link DIR-890L router. Forza Horizon 3 is working fine, as is FH2, FM6, FM5 and FH.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Spoke too soon, worked on the day I posted and hasn’t worked again since so not really sure what’s up. Again, any pointers would be appreciated.
The last update has fixed the lobby, many thanks but messages is still behaving erratically, most of the time it’s blank then randomly it’s working I have have a few weeks of rewards available. Any ideas?
Check if all important ports are open for your xbox one x. Maybe they are only open for your old one and you need to change the port forwarding for the ip of your new console. Otherwise you can just put the one x into the DMZ of your router. That way nothing should block your connection to the servers. If that doesnt work, there might be a problem with the console, the game or your isp.

Cheers but all ports are open, messages work for all other Forza products and was working fine in F7 until a couple of months ago, if it was network related then I would expect all previous Forza products to be failing but thanks anyhow.

It would be a shame, if you were not be able to enjoy FM7 on your X.
Unfortunately I’ve emailed and had no response.
Since this has started I’ve had to change the router out for a D-Link DIR-895L as the old one blew, back to the lobby not working and messages (Daily Rewards, Forza Rewards, Specialist Cars, etc). Last two times the messages worked was 46 days between them and it’s been a while yet again. Even gone through the console reset and reinstall path with no luck.
I’ll just have to be patient, I hope it will start working again sometime soon. Forza Horizon 4 is just around the corner so hopefully that will be fine and that can take my attention instead of FH3.
