Hello everybody,
I have the xbox one x now a month and I have extremely grafic issues specially on the barcelona track when sun is shining. But it’s even there when sun is not shining. On some cars I can see the track under me or a reflection Sauber c9 racecar. With the Mercedes-Benz A-Class I have reflections from the curbs inside of the car and a flickering everytime I drive over curbs. It’s from car to car different. Some cars seems to be okay. It’s extremely irritating.
I tested it on 2 TV samsung h6470 and samsung nu7409. And tested it on xbox one s where I have none of this issues.
So it’s none of the tvs. I have the issues on the Full HD TV as well. What’s been strange because on the xbox one s I have none issues.
So the question is now is my xbox one x broken or is that issues with the game. If its a specific issue with xbox one x than I should be on all cars? On games like horizon 4 I have none of this cockpitview issues. Or on other games.
I made two videos on my profile if someone is interested to see.
Update: Now I’ve tried 1080p Resolution but the issues still there. I thought when it’s be fine with one s version than maybe here too. But that must be a specific enhanced version issue. No matter if I select 4k or 1080p. My 4k tv supports 4k 60 hz and hdr10. I never had this issue on a other 4k game. Next step isnow to ask some x user from my friendlist if they had similar issues.
Thanks for reading
So they have this graphic glitches too in cockpit. One some cars like pontiac solitude from 2009 or how the name was. You can see the asphalt in the cockpit. Or parts of the foor are open.
I’m a bit confused that such things are still after 15 months in game. And its not only one car.
Yes, it has been a long time now. It’s a feature I would expect in a $10 mobile port, never a AAA game. Sad.
What ridiculous is, that the cockpitview in the 1080p Version are okay and in the 4k Enhanced Version not. I mean this was the spotlight game for the one x one year ago. And they have not the will to fix that? I mean as a graphic artist I can not understand it. It’s not one car I found now more. Is that not understandable that I’m not happy to buy that xbox one x forza bundle for 450 euros and then see that the cockpitview is full of lighting and reflection glitches.
But I’m not sure if this lighting and reflection issues was there from the release of the game.
some seat position are wrong so you can see the uper port of body on some combination cockpitview and movement settings.
Okay I expect no more reply or support.
But at least I want to say that it’s extremely sad, that the graphic artist or whoever is responsible for the lighting and reflections inside the cockpit, have that low standards.
Much more frustrating is that the non enhanced version did not have that lighting glitches.
A friend said he wish he can install the Full HD Version.
They have not listed that as a known issues, what means to me that they have not the will to fix it.
Most playing the game on One/S, so they can sit it out, because the majority of X players didn’t use the cockpit view. Maybe the most think it’s a cool X feature.
Even they not response I’m sure the devs know that issues with the reflections inside the cockpit.
It happens in games of all budgets and genres. The developers don’t play the games enough to notice jarringly obvious flaws and faults. In Forza’s case it might be that there’s a development roadmap everyone has to follow, and if a change like “reduce the obnoxious windshield reflections” is proposed, it has to pass multiple levels of management and be manually placed in the roadmap basically saying “x people will make this change and have it fully done in x amount of man hours, or we’ll have to investigate why it’s taking so long”. That’s how I imagine it. Or nobody gives a **** because fun and well-rounded products are overrated when they make money regardless.
Microsoft bought Minecraft at a loss, they won’t make that money back, even if it’s a better investment than leaving it in the bank. I don’t know why they can’t dump money into making a sim better than iRacing, that’s still playable and intuitive on a gamepad, just for the novelty of being the best in the world. As a race, we’re all on a short clock anyway. Gasoline cars will die out before we do, and rubber… everything about racing will be too expensive or deemed too damaging to the environment to be allowed. Maybe… it’s better if we don’t digitally immortalize it? I’m probably thinking too hard now.
