The more games that are based online the more we are going to run into this issue. The problem I have is I don’t agree with things like the token system being available only in the cloud. If I wanted to pop some XP tokens right now I’d be SOL.
Edit: I will also say this. Take10 could do a MUCH better job at communicating issues with the community. Even just a simple acknowledgement would go a long way.
It doesn’t have to be an issue exclusive to Forza(or any other online game for that matter) for the developer of said game to acknowledge there’s an issue. I didn’t know that link existed but again it would have taken someone from take10 all of 30sec to make a sticky post earlier today acknowledging the issue and providing that link. Just because it’s not their problem doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be good customer service to provide information.
Alright - called MS, they are doing something with the cloud naming - you have to HARD RESET the console, so unplug the xbox for around 10 secs or so, then restart and you will be good to go.
Helpful tech via a callback on the phone, also checked some of my connection settings to be sure I wasn’t losing any speed etc.
