I know they have the track list page to post about the tracks we all want, this post isn’t about that. But rather how many of you would PAY for a sizable expansion. Like 10+ new tracks along with some updates to existing tracks like night or weather or something along that line of content. I would gladly pay 40 buck or more for a substantial collection of new tracks. T10 has delivered on the car expansions, their are plenty of great cars to race with and they look amazing. But to me, racing all those great cars would be even better with more variety in the track selection. I really miss the Asian track selections like Twin RIng (god I miss this one), Tsukuba Circuit, Suzuka and the likes of Fuji would be nice. I read about the Porsche expansion that may feature one new track, but this would be an expansion that strictly had tracks. What do you all think, would you pay for a expansion pack with more tracks?
No because few people would buy them, rendering them useless online.
If they did, it wouldn’t matter because you would be experiencing it upside down or bumper first into a wall.

When they released Nurburgring GP in Forza 3 it was useless online because not everyone had it. In Forza 5 the add on tracks were free and great. Now in the Porsche pack VIR is awesome to see but not everyone will own it and that is stupid.
I’d have to respectfully disagree, no malcontent I deeded though, ok.
For whatever reason, Porsche’ has a following amongst all levels of gamers.
Be they young or old. I still remember running about in an old “Whale-Tail” many moons ago. Like many older models, it was a bucket of rattles and moans. But the pure power and raw guttural sounds it emitted still linger in my subconscious.
Younger virtual racers have come to love them through the games EA have pumped out over the decades, and still do. Plus those that have come yo enjoy them in Horizion franchise.
Given that, I’d hazard to say a huge percentage of Forza 6 owners will nab the expansion, simply as a matter of course.
Thus putting thousands, nay tens of thousands of players online. If gamers can’t manage a decent series of online games with even that number, then there’s something wrong.
Turn10 have had this (and most likely others) in the mix for some time, and by doing this, and no doubt future packs, they can extend the games longivity, long term playability, and help get the funds in for future iterations.
I think we’ll all be surprised at the number of ppl taking up this pack.
Probably not, unless they were put into the league track rotations right away. After paying over $114 CDN for the ultimate edition, I think I’ve paid enough already.
If a track can’t be used by everyone then it’s not worth buying in my opinion.
I don’t mind cars being behind a paywall but if a track is paywalled then it causes compatibility issues for Multiplayer.

PJ, do you think that with the new Porsche’ pack coming in March, with its 7 new ribbons on Virginia International Raceway, they have built special MP Leagues for it, plu allowing the non-online player to enjoy all the other cars (and the pack contents) on that track and all its ribbons.
Wouldn’t that show they have the ability to supply track packs and, supply online racers some additional fun.
What if they included several of the great Aussie Supercar and Touring Car tracks. There’d still be leagues for that, and the ones that currently exist would just be expanded on?..
Yes/no?
only tracks yes … cars ( that i dont want ) and a track … no thanks
I would consider paying for a track expansion, for me the deciding factor would be if they were new tracks vs re rendered old stuff like Maple Valley, while MV was fun, for any more cash I want some new never included content of real world tracks.
YES!!! I would pay for some new tracks but I am afraid that would be called Forza 7 by T10…
It’s not just whether “enough” people have the track, it’s whether the right people do. I tend to play with the same group regularly. If just one of them doesn’t have the track then we won’t play it.
And it can’t go into any general lobby or league either.
And seeing my mates all driving a car I don’t have might occasionally make me buy it, but seeing them all in a lobby I can’t access is more likely to make me go play something else instead. I’m certainly not going to buy a bunch of cars I don’t want to get access to a track.
