Just showing actual local time would be OK, and also fairly useful

I’m frankly surprised this doesn’t work. Many cars have functional thermometers inside, so it’s weird that so many cars, as well as the player’s wristwatches, are always stuck at 12:00.

Why this have only 28 votes? It’s like a simple value grab if anything. The game has to be keeping track of the sky changes due to time.
It may be debated whether it is the in-game time or the real world time. Either way, it’s better than being fixed at 12:00. It is preferable to have the option to choose whichever you prefer.
