Will cars from my forza 5 account go to the forza horizon 2 when it comes out?

bonus cars? yes! paints/things you created? Oh yea! The whole lot of maxed cars transferring?? I sure hope not, would be completely unfair in online and make the base game pretty pointless.

I have quite a few cars and quite a few i really like…would be enjoyable to race them in weather and different venues.

Hi,
I played much time to get many cars in Forza 5 and I think it would be awesome if you could transfer cars from your Forza 5 Garage to Forza Horizon 2. It is the same engine, isnt it?
Is there any plan to implement such a feature?

probably not and it will make the game seem shorter if you just got the high end cars straight away, same engine but there are limitations as with everything.

Do you mean will cars from Forza 5 be in FH2? Or do you mean will you be able to transfer the cars that you own in Forza 5?

If the first, yes. If the second, no; why would they do that?

Check the stickied threads at the top, the What We Know So Far thread or you can ask for a feature in the Wish List thread.

It’s not uncommon for them to at least give you some bonus, loyalty cars for having played previous games in the series. Don’t expect your exact cars to transfer from one game to the next though. That’s never happened.

Thanks for the quick answers.
So I cannot expect such an option, well, it is a pity, but okay.

@Blu Koi
I mean the second and it would be just awesome to drive the cars I own in an open world. Especially the classics. I also bought one car pack with very old cars (1939 Maserati and a weird looking old Lotus.^^) They are all great cars.

Well you’ll have to earn the cars again. What’s the point of playing the game if you just get the cars as soon as you start?

Gotta catch 'em all…

Porza Horímon

But I only can earn them again when they are available in the game, besides do you know Midtown Madness? For me an open world racing game is not about earning anything but having fun driving around and test the cars. Also make my own challenges.

It was just an idea, seems I am alone with it.

WHO’S THAT POKÉZON?!

IT’S VENENO! D:

No, it’s Venemoth.

I read that as Venenomoth at first. You missed such an easy trick there. :stuck_out_tongue:

That should’ve been the achievement with the Pokemon reference : A Wild Venenomoth Appears! <— You’ve met a drivatar driving a Lamborghini Veneno.

It’s a cool idea for cars to transfer cars and one day they probably will. I don’t think anyone has figured out the best way to do that and still provide rewards for playing the game. The first Horizon did gift players a few extra cars to Forza 4 players; maybe Horizon 2 will let players choose three of their favorite Forza 5 cars or something.

Besides, every time you ‘level up’ per se, you get a random chance of winning cash or cars. So who knows, you might get the cars you want earlier than you think =)

Do people really not enjoy starting a game from scratch anymore?

I work long hours but when I do get a chance to play I like to play a fresh game from zero, earn my credit buy my cars and so, I for one would not want my F5 cars in my horizon garage at the start of the game, I’ll start with what ever low spec car I’m given and enjoy working my way up, this is why I buy games.

I guess for some people there’s only so many times you can feel the rush of spending 10,000,000Cr on a Ferrari…
