Whats the point, it gives some players a nice incentive to turn them off and stuff.
It appears to be making mods more necessary…which in turn makes mod crates more necessary…which inevitably like a free to play tablet/phone game will introduce microtransactions to feed it all.
Yeah I don’t like where this is going!
Honestly, removing the leaderboards for course/class adds to this as well. No one is glued to that, you need to do the races in the game to make money…no “tuning” and “leaderboard cars”, just micro-transactions and sadness.
Yup, it is all about spending real money in a game some have paid a 100 euros for already…I guess Dan Greenawald is not really about racing games anymore but more about bigger houses…for himself.
I agree, removing this was a really bad decision.
Theres lot of bad decisions they made in this game . Lets hope they will fix theese things in future updates . Im just trying to be optimistic after all disappointments . VERY optimistic lol .
This has pretty much been the trend since Forza 4. Cut features and add micro transactions.
I don’t think the extra XP was ever an incentive to turn the assists off. You’re either going to turn them off or not. The extra $50,000cr on top of the $500,000cr didn’t make a difference.
This. The enjoyment is the incentive who really cares about a few credits. Doesn’t take long to have a good collection of cars so I don’t understand all the whining.
I and many others turned them off just for extra credits.
I actually think this is a pretty smart move. Good players are going to switch the assists off regardless and will play the game enough that soon money would be irrelevant, and this encourages new people, where the extra cr might make a huge difference for them, to do likewise. I really don’t get all the’ T10 are only after microtransactions’, it seems like they have been removed (remember tokens?) I seriously doubt they are coming back. There is a simple solution here: Don’t complain, if you do not like the crates and race mods, then don’t use them. Why on earth worry about what everyone else is doing?
And you would be so very very wrong T10 have all ready stated that TOKENS will be in the game a a later date this is a fact not a guess.
Interesting. No idea why. It’s not Pay to win. I can see this only serving to annoy people and they would not get much benefit in terms of money because so few people buy them. Do you have the official source for your information?

You’re not seeing the problem: Forza 6 had mods. You still earned money from assists, so you didn’t had to use them. It also released without Tokens because people hated it on Forza 5. The tokens came back and you could buy mods with them, but still, you could get cr. the other ways. Then in 7 they restricted VIP credit boost and removed the assists credits. There is no you don’t have to use them anymore. That’s why everyone is complaining. Because the “you don’t have to use them” is being removed little by little.
EDIT: Turn 10 confirmed to Ars Technica that they will introduce Tokens back into the game, after, and I quote, “Once we confirm that the game economy is balanced and fun for our players out in the wild…”

Tokens are always delayed by a month or two upon release. They first let info from player saves generate enough data for them to adjust the economy and then introduce tokens. I hate to be that guy who brings this up but if you had a higher Forza score you would know this. Meaning try not to offer opinions on things when you clearly don’t have the experience to understand how the system works. FM7 was clearly built from the ground up to, at minimum, tempt people into buying tokens.

Stop making sense, it really frustrates and confuses people.
Talk about scoring an own goal.
Turn 10 have made a mess of a game and unless changes are made, and I mean soon, I can’t see the community stay g with this game for long.
I really dont care if real money $$$ tokens are introduced. I wont buy any tokens and just play the game.

Only rational people think like you. It’s like people think they need to buy microtransactions and justify everything towards needing to buy them. When the reality is if they would take them out it would just be a game inaccessible to those with not a lot of time to play. It’s a balancing act of creating a hard environment for the hardcore players and making it easier for those with little time to get in on the action. People act like they can’t play the game for what it is without shelling out more money, and that’s just irrational thinking; mostly due to not being able to think critically about the situation.
