Why PEGI 3?

Dear Playground Games

Look it’s likely too late to turn it around but I atleast want a reason as to why. FH1 was PEGI 12 which allowed the devs to put some grunt and aggression into the games you had enemies not opposition who would give you a firm handshake for destroying their entire life, in FH1 the enemies you were up against would do everything to press you to annoy you to make you angry. I’m NOT asking for a repeat of that but PEGI 3 is far too low PEGI 7 seems more fitting atleast then all characters wont be forced to give you a bright smile as you bring down their entire empire they can actually look defeated. Having it as PEGI 12 again like FH1 is impossible from a legal stand point it cuts off a large portion of the playerbase and there were very few but there were some suggestive voice notes from characters in fh1 and other things.

If I were to make a request it would be that every character didn’t give you love and nurture you like you’re a child, there are young fans in the playerbase but there is also quite a lot of people who would find the characters annoying and obsolete and not in a way that makes the game more engaging.

You pretty much answered your own question. The developers and/or Microsoft opt for PEGI 3 and Rated E so that they can cast their audience net as far as they can.

Now don’t get me wrong. I agree with you. I would love this series to work its way back up to PEGI 12 and Rated T. Frankly, given what usually goes on a music festivals, there’s no way in heck the Horizon Festival would be that accommodating to anyone below the age of 18 in real life. But I just don’t see an age bump happening at this point. More is the pity.
