Who's holding back?

Everyone has their own preference. Mine is for the design and feel of the Forza franchise, so the FH2 preorder has been in for a month or so.

As for ProjectCARS and Crew, I will do what I do with the GRID series and other racing series of the like and wait for them to come down in price or on some Xbox Gold sale for a cheap price to fill a time void until the next Forza title comes out.

This!

Pretty much knew I was getting FH2 when I played FH1. It had such potential, I wanted to see the next one.

See I can’t do that I don’t buy because of developers I buy because of the game if you understand me, I use to buy forza blind up until forza horizon 1 / forza 5 and although H1 was ok I felt F5 was a waste of my money, a meh track day game ( my opinion) so now I’m more cautious.

I am jumping right in. I will be getting it the day of, and playing it.

Was this thread really necessary?

Getting FH2 @ Project Cars. Not gonna get The Crew.
The racing spectrum on the Xbox One is covered quite nice.

I’m holding back, exactly 3 days, because I’m punished for not living in the US anymore :frowning: After these 3 days my preorder arrives and I’ll be playing Horizon 2 for the 360 and I’m not even sure what I’m getting.

The game I’m holding back on is the Crew. I really like it, but the always online requirement is a deal breaker for me. The Crew has impressed my way more the Horizon 2, but I don’t have Live Gold. I hardly ever play online. Project Cars looks interesting as well, but that seems to be a true next gen game, so I have to wait until we go into the next generation ourselves. Same with DriveClub, looks nice and interesting. These 2 games have one problem… no free roam. That’s why I’m getting Horizon 2, freedom to drive around, but it seems when it comes to champignonships that they’ve limited that freedom quite bit. No more extensively driving from race to race, I really liked that about Horizon. Horizon 2 seems more restricted in that area, making you drive around lot less.

Im not buying this game. Still not over F5 stripped down game. I still paint and drift allot but since nothing paint related can be used in H2 from F5 it bursted my want to buy bubble. Since im the painter for my team they are going to pass also. Really none of them are really wanting to drive around the boring location that was chosen. We have decided to get Project Cars and The crew instead. I enjoyed painting in Forza but they don’t care about us artists anymore . They expect all of us to start over again from 0. When you have spent a few thousand hours making great decals the last thing you want to do is trash our artwork out the door and do it again. I realize that the 2 other titles won’t have a vinyls we can make either but thats ok because from what I’ve seen they look way better than H2 by far. Forza takes great options out of the game and gives us drive atar which really makes offline racing like racing with trolls. Nothing any of us like. I wonder who tells them thats a great idea. Too bad the franchise is ending for some of us but the top dog in racing has to fall at some point and its their falt…

Been giving it a lot of thought, and spent more time on the demo and found I enjoy the play value much more than I did with F5 so decided to pre order the VIP addition from the online store.

Not going to bother with the crew think that might be aimed to much for the younger generation, plus I really like the music and atmosphere in the demo so the full game can only be better.

I’ve played and enjoyed ever forza game since day one, only exception being F5 ( played but sadly didn’t enjoy) and I think PG do I good job to be honest.

So I’m with most of you guys now, see you on the road on the 3rd, I’ll be rocking my Capri.

I ordered the Day One Ultimate edition for Xbox One. I do have some issues with the game such as the length of day and night but none of them are critical. I really enjoyed the original. I have played the original for over 100 hours.

This is the type of game I like. I like the game play. The objectives are clear and there are several of them. If there is an objective I don’t like, I don’t have to complete it. I am willing to take the risk because it is enough like the original.
