When Rival time attack lapping dirty laps....

I need to make sure this is right please. I am out trying to learn how to race better and more cleanly by hotlapping. I am racing on prague full in b class. I have all assists off with the exception of TCS. I am starting out with a slow lap to get into the groove. Usually my first is about 3 minutes. I do my best to keep the lap clean. I usually make 3-4 laps slowly speeding up the lap times. If I bump the wall it goes dirty (as I would expect) When I cross the starting line I would expect that to clear but for some reason it stays dirty. I am pretty sure that is what the triangle with the exclamation is anyway. Can someone tell me if there is a way to get my following laps to be clean again without finishing the race and starting over?
Thanks in advance!
Chris

If you dirty your lap in the last timing sector, your next lap will be dirty too.

You can rewind to erase the ‘dirty’ so you can start your next lap clean.

OK - cool so I tested this out and ran a full lap clean after that and it switched back to clean the next lap. Thanks for setting me straight!

What linavitch said. Prague and its moving walls biting you, huh? I’ve noticed they usually don’t move until you are about to take a second or more off of your best lap. Then, they jump out and bite your car. It’s a plate tectonic/climate/magnetosphere kind of thing. Science is on my side.
