Wheels - Wheels and FFB not functioning properly after Series 14 for some players (3478778)

Nope, as expected, DInputFFBInvertAxis doesn’t affect the ffb interval (also there’s no defined DInputFFBInvertAxis for other wheels too but they don’t have the problem).

Please test the game for more minutes before concluding a solution. The ffb interval is almost fine for a couple minutes (no matter if the game files are modified or not), the issue starts after a few minutes of driving. So it can make you think whatever you do fixes it, but then you actually play it and find out that it’s still there.

I think I’m done with trying possible solutions because each of them take like one hour (including the slow and buggy game launch, needs multiple attempts to just open after the recent update) and I don’t expect any ‘solution’ to work at this point, unless someone comes up with something that even makes sense, I don’t think such a solution exists though, it’s probably some code that’s compiled and we can’t change it.

I spent a 3 hours to test it and it works for me. I was saying it’s not perfect, but better than nothing. sorry it didn’t help you

That’s great ! - if you’re on a PC…
I’m on a series X console with the G920 and on consoles there is no option to get to the data files.
We are stuck with what they give us. Which, for 6 months now, has been nothing.

I can’t get an e-brake to work on any button / pedal on the wheel in game despite the mapping saying it’s been accepted and now it constantly vibrates violently from side to side - even after I’ve been completely stationary for some time.
The LSB & RSB buttons have NEVER been mappable, so I can’t reset the car when it gets stuck on a rock, toggle convertibles or change the drive from AWD to RWD say for the Mach E or change from track to Highway say for the AMG One.
Taking photos is also tricky as there is very limited movement options without any joysticks available.

The mapping itself is ridiculous. Too many options, not enough buttons and being forced to use certain inputs that I don’t even want to have.

It needs a proper investigation and fix. MS, PGG, T10 and Logitech all need to get round a table and work this out.

So I have this bug with my Logitech G920 where one day my clutch just wouldn’t respond. Now I tested it on every other car game and It worked perfectly fine so I ruled out that my pedal was broken. I knew this update was coming out so I thought my problem would be fixed. Of course, this wasn’t the case or else I wouldn’t be here. Now the clutch works fine on a controller. I found a way around it where you have to boot up the game with the controller and drive around with Manual + Clutch, then plug in the wheel and it will work. For me, I like to use what the actual car comes with so I switch my clutch on and off a lot, but then I can’t go back to paddles than to clutch because then it doesn’t work and I have to restart the whole game. PLEASE DEVS FIX THIS BECAUSE IT IS ANNOYING
