Whats your fav thing about fm6

I would probably have to say the paint feature and I’m definitely no painter. I usually always go for some sort of race livery replica and there’s a pretty good chance that someone has created one that I’m looking for. But the paint feature is also my most hated part of Forza because of how much of a pain it is to search for available paints.

I do a lot or replays for the realism and because they make me look better than I am, awful. Also lets me refuel on beer (not the problem, actually a bit better DUI).

The overall car selection.

Despite whatever you feel is missing to it, there’s undoubtedly something in there you love, and something in there that wonderfully surprised you.

I also like the ability that we can hotlap and compare with real-life times. Tracks like Laguna Seca, Nurburgring, Top Gear Test Track, and VIR all have recorded lap “leaderboards”, and you can replicate them to the best of your ability. Not only can you do it with modern cars that have done it, but you can do it with old cars that haven’t. Being able to see how the Auto Union Type D would lap Nordschleife, how the '64 Impala would, etc. I think is pretty cool.

MLG since it’s the only competitive avenue for racing. Hotlapping is dead so there’s little point doing that. There’s some clean racers in D class that I like playing with but if they aren’t online I get bored quick. I think the physics are why I pop the game on every now and then if I need to blow time whilst shows are recording.

Finishing up achievements is something I do on occasion but man I wish career wasn’t so boring.

I think forzavista is boring too. Surprised so many people like it. I dont see the point in exploring the same car more than once. Yet, I can watch collector car auctions for hours. Go figure.

Wow! All of the above, Lord knows what order to put any of those topics in.

One thing I would add is that when your in a League or Lobby where guys are discussing things, it can be a real laugh and on many occasion, quite informative. I love the connectedness FM 6 gives us. I know this cannot always happen due to language barriers or people choosing not to speak, that’s fine, but when you’re in a fun crowd, having a laugh, the Lobby tends to police itself and fun, clean races result. I have suffered disconnects and random muting of others in the Lobby … I’m sure it’s part of T10’s fix strategy.

At this point, the prospect that some of my favorite cars like Delorean, or 70’s Countach may be in a future pack, as well as hoping that there will be a track pack.

You can censor my cars if it’s too wishy.

the most hours are spent in photo mode for me. the game looks so good that i find myself searching for the best look of a car, the right angle, light and so on…
Other than that the tuning section keep me come back to acheive better LB positions. when a personal friend beats me the game is on!

Same for me, and I have to thank you for visiting my gallery
I have enjoyed FM6 far more than I was expecting, and although there is much I would like to change, for it to be perfect for me, I realise that it’s a decent (all rounder) racing game.

I don’t take it too seriously as I believe it’s trying to cater for all and does this very well.

Forzatography addiction was the main reason for my getting this version, but pick up and play-ability has kept me interested since Xmas. I also discovered that I’m more into leveling up and achievements than first thought.

Edit: Most of the guys/girls that post on this forum are another reason why I have continued supporting the franchise.

  • Car Selection
Only japanese cars after 2010 are underrepresented or even newer acura models
  • Forza Vista
Details are unbelievable. You can see every screw and even in the game itselfs…simply phantastic
  • Sounds
Okay some sounds on 4 I like more but overall by far the best sounds in genre
  • Tracks
Details are great even the tracks have more bumps in real
  • handling
Good mix between sim and arcade. There a much room for improvment but overall great
  • Paint editor
Sadly the best painters are gone. The livery variety in forza 4 was great but even in fm6 you can find some great works
  • rain effects

The main thing for me is that I feel the link of any car with the ground even with a pad.

I would love forzavista, but we only have the choice of a dark garage or a shady place on a balcony. No chance to see and explore your car in sunlight. Forza 5 had best showroom.

Graphics are ok, but no improvement to FM 5 and not as good as Forza Horizon 2.

At the beginning, the cars list was pretty poor though to its quantity of cars but now getting much better with DLCs.

Track list is ok, but rain and night racing shouldn’t be counted as seperate tracks.

Really? I think the graphics are 10x better than Horizon. When I go back to try and play it, it looks like a last gen game compared to FM6. And the frame rate …

I love a lot about this game. I love the ability view the replays of others, I love rivals, the graphics, the sounds of the engines get me pumped up. I play the game nearly on a daily basis and still love seeing notifications that I earned credits for my ghost races or tunes that have been used in some of fashion or another. Although, I lean more towards race and super cars I do like the variety of the DLC packs even though a lot of the cars I won’t ever use it’s nice to see a wide spectrum of vehicles. I do hope we can get some more content as in tracks and cars before it’s lifespan ends.

Probably the painting and tuning, the game feels half baked at everything else.

First off this game really rocks due to the sheer level of handling inputs that allows great car handling simulation and allows the frequent WOW after say a few laps of the Ferrari FXX K around Lime Rock Park. Of the handling characteristics of the game what I really like is the way the game is able to convey the feel of tire grip when racing tracks. Lots of coding has gone into providing this tire feel and if anything distinguishes this game from others, it’s this one character. Thanks to the genius of Dan Greenawalt who realizes that cars ride on tires primarily, and something most of the other driving sims just don’t get.

I often like hopping on the leagues. They seem to make good choices for leagues. (currently hypercars, which nobody drives and i actually get to use the things competitively). Rammers are a problem, but you can kinda deal with them if you’re aware, and play their own game. They’ll give up.

Leagues do render the regular hoppers worthless because leagues are pretty much the same thing except with less rammers (league dependent) and you get an award (often CR) for placing higher. They did well on leagues.
However I’m not sure why they removed the marketplace, auction house, etc. I don’t get it.

My fav. thing has to be prague, love that circuit.

Agreed seems to be lacking as much painters as before which is sad as another great aspect is that it allows 3000 layers fm4 was 1000 lol and graphics it blows any other game away , the handling is epic too … Thanks for all the replays I like reading these positives and hopefully a positive thread will boost the turn 10 lads to providing fm7 and making it as insane as ever , but please no wish list this is about what we got a love most about fm6
