What's the plan for missing track layouts and Alts

as the title says

we’re still very low on the number of tracks/layouts compared to the previous forza. new tracks releases without smaller layouts (sebring club) and alts like sazuka that is missing both. where’s Bugatti circuit?

not to mention fantasy tracks like prague, bernese, and dubai.

Hi @haulmarc . You can vote for them in the track voting hub in the meantime. I’m sure layouts like Bugatti circuit will be back someday.

thanks. ive voted. hopefully that helps

more concerned whats happening on tracks we already do have without their alternate layouts.

Hi @haulmarc . Recently, release of the tracks & layouts slowed down to ensure their quality.

I am sure it would take about one day for graphical changes to add in any ALT track from an existing track. Remove barriers - add barriers. Then adding it into rivals and freeplay menus.

A very good question. Too many layouts from FM7 are missing, especially short ones. Not every track needs to have access to the pits, some layouts could be just not available for longer races. I’m sure T10 is also able to make proper “cutscenes” for tracks without pits (I guess that’s part of the reason why short layouts are missing)

One really annoying missing layout is Catalunya short with the alternative back straight. It keeps popping up in career mode, but it’s not playable in free play or private multiplayer…

Some don’t connect to the pit stop. Maybe that’s why we won’t see them.

Honestly, I hope T10 doesn’t backfill tracks with alternate layouts. That will only make the track rotation in lower classes even worse. And of all the fantasy tracks, Prague and Dubai either need to stay retired or have the track width cut in half.

Prague is my favorite fantasy track haha

Why? Being too wide makes it little more than a load of sweepers, just like virtually every other T10 fantasy track.

I don’t expect anything to improve from what we’ve seen so far regarding the pace of track releases and the level of communication from the studio.
They’ve clearly shown us what to expect from them - and it’s not much.

Because nobody can drive on tracks with thin roads… Every Brands, VIR or Mid-Ohio is an absolute disaster with almost no opportunity to pass.

Just give me Bathurst with the original layout before they added The Chase.

They’ve already said fantasy tracks like Bernese, Prague and Dubai aren’t coming back as this game is focused on proper circuit based racing

For you in the higher classes maybe, but that has not been my experience at all.

Edit: the tracks you mentioned also have a lot of varying elevation changes, which is another factor that can easily catch an inexperienced driver, regardless of track width.

There is a god…

Although I did have a bit of a soft spot for Prague, in limited doses (and generally without the massive long loop over the hill)

Out of all the fantasy tracks, Prague is the one I despise the most, and I despise all of the non-circuit ones (and barely tolerate the circuit ones).

A GT race over a medieval cobblestone bridge monument? Under the arches of another monument building? Down a public garden pathway? Along tram tracks? It was so unrealistic and plainly dumb.

What if the fantasy track is believable? Tokyo from FM1 should work. It has pits, isn’t too over the top and has a decent flow and challenge. Except for the gargantuan work Turn 10 will need to model it, and then get it running in the game without taking the frame rates to the sewer, I see no reason it cannot be included. It’s certainly a much better track than Eagle Rock Infield.

One thing though… They will have to alter the instant death chicane.

As for alternate tracks that are in the game that do have pit lanes, Suzuka North, the Motorcycle route, Road America’s kink chicane, and Bugatti come to mind. As does the historic version of Indianapolis. It’s already there, just change the routing.

If it’s as good as or better than Sunset Peninsula that’s fine by me. It’s the ones that drive like they came out of 90s NFS that need to be avoided, IMO.
