Occasionally I get a gold skills ‘total’ appear bottom centre of the screen with some random total in it … (I think it could be influence)
It is not a round number like 2,000 it could be anything
it stays there for a while then eventually disappears … just don’t quite know why … any clues?
It’s a bug been happening for three months or so. Devs know about it but since it’s.l not “a new way to play” it will never get fixed.
yeah been happening a lot to me as well, hate it most when i’m doing a seasonal speed zone or something and that thing gets stuck, preventing me from even activating the speed zone, had to restart the game to continue

Everyone needs to submit a ticket for this issue. Talking about it on the forum doesn’t count. The only chance we have of getting it fixed is to bombard the support site with complaints.
Seriously, the ticket submission box is where complaints go to die. That’s the purpose. No one in technical support on the planet prefers to get SUGGESTIONS in their inbox. Individual technical support issues? Yes. That makes sense. But no one in technical support prefers to have suggestions fill an inbox instead of being hashed out on a forum and a common sense solution then implemented. I’ve been there personally.
The reason they went to ticket submissions was to fool the community into submitting complaints in secret rather than to have them here in public, where such negative conversation may effect stock price if industry media decides to do a story about it. Again, I’ve been there personally in a previous with a biotech company.
And when I was younger, I used to work in a record store. We had a physical example of our the digital suggestion inbox from this game. We had a wooden box with a pad of paper and a pen attached to it that said “suggestion box”. It looked legit. But what people over 3 feet tall couldn’t initially tell was that there was no bottom to the box, and there was a garbage can sitting underneath. Any suggestions put in the box when straight into the garbage.
I think all this is completely fair to say because we’ve all seen how PG has chosen to do things. Over 100+ pages about multiplayer, an untold number of tickets submitted, and instead of a fix, it’s gets forced as part of the new festival playlist.
Don’t fall into the trap of thinking tickets are for suggestions. If you have a technical support issue, want to report a bug or whatever, then it makes sense to submit a ticket. In this case, the bug is already known. But submitting a ticket for suggestions is just being a rube, like the people who tried to put suggestions in our suggestion box at the record store.

I just do another skill chain and it goes away.
this is probably what clears it for me … I was just wondering if it was trying to indicate something special that I wasn’t aware of …
It indicates that Playground have been too lazy to fix a bug they introduced in a patch over 2 months ago.
