what cars in the top gear pack do you think will be competitive in rivals?

I’m particuraily thinking c to a class.

Maybe Renault 5. Maybe the Lexus on speed tracks.

Definitely the Chaparral in R class.

EDIT: I have spent some time with most of the cars now so here is my view.

Renault 5 has potential but how much I am not sure. Still searching for right class and build.

Lexus - not as good as I first thought. Good top speed but takes too long to get there.

WRX and Audi - same as other WRXs and Audis. Mildly competitive. There may be an engine swap build that works somewhere.

Lotus - its light and can handle well. Worth spending time with.

Hummer and Transit - no comment.

Xbox One Commodore - disappointing so far. I can not get close to my times set with the older V8s.

Chaparral - may give the old F1s a scare.

R390 - not spent enough time with yet.

Renaul and lotus look the most intresting to me.
The transit is a fun lobby car. C class D-B maybe
Hummer- WHY ? T10 catering to the troll crowd.
Wrx might work better in B than C???
Chaperral intresting for R class.

Crasher in lobby in Subaru WRX. Looks normal enough right? Well right until you get torpedoed from left field by someone looking much like a regular driver. He can also, if he’s close enough, run you down in the straight and hit you again. If he waits on you his car is going to be agile enough to get to you again.

Crasher in a lobby in a HUMMER. You know what he’s there for and can avoid him. His car isn’t fast, you will be outrunning this one in a straight line and if he waits he’s generally pretty easy to avoid.

I much prefer the guy in the HUMMER.

I agree with every thing you say. But still this vehicle will be most popular with troll crowd. I think its a waste to have Two Heavy Suvs in one DLC pack.

That’s a good point, just last night I was in a race where a guy was trying to crash everyone with the Hummer but most of us avoided getting hit during all four laps on Atlanta because the Hummer is slow and has practically no agility.

I think i might try the renault next ,then the lotus.I tried the lexus last night ,shifting seemed slow,it nearly feels you would be better with manual.

I haven’t tried the Lexus yet in FM5 but I really enjoyed it in FM4 though I never managed to make a very competitive build/tune for it. Still was fun to drive though.

Forget what i said about the lexus shifting i’d reset my clutcch button by accident : \

Agree about the Holden. It’s slower then the others. Not sure why. Confused if we will get to tune it or not in the competition.
