haha i just discovered this while browsing the xbox store: the advertisement livetile currently shows a “Q50 Eau Rouge Challenge” ad for Forza. It leads to the well known Infiniti/Forza microsite where they announced the infiniti car pack a couple of weeks ago. It now has a “Go Race” button revealing that you can “win a custom racing sled” by doing the following:

original excerpt from the “How to enter” section:

- Play the game using the Q50 Eau Rouge on the Spa track including Eau Rouge curve
- Record your fastest lap and best turn on the Eau Rouge curve using the upload app
- Video must showcase game play from your fastest lap on the track and include footage of the leaderboard at the end of the race documenting your final race time*
Just to be clear, if you race Spa without eau rouge curve your entry wont be eligible, keep that in mind… :wink: And make sure you achieve your fastest lap while doing your best turn on eau rouge curve!
Next step would be to share and tag your video using a certain keyword. They will then determine the 15 semi-finalists based on the fastest laps. Now a judging panel (huh?) will select the 5 finalists based on certain judging criteria (i’m wondering what the criteria are) and finally the winner of the grand prize will be determined by online public voting on the microsite (yeah, a very common way to determine the winner of a race game contest)
So thats how you submit your entry, and now the best part, the Grand Prize:

- One (1) used Xbox One “Forza Motorsport 5” gaming kiosk, which includes one (1) Xbox One console, one (1) Mad Catz racing wheel, one (1) 32” TV mounted in a custom-designed gaming kiosk and one (1) used copy of “Forza Motorsport 5” for Xbox One. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize Option #1 is $2,400.*

So thats how you get easily rid of your used car show/exhibition hardware g
So be aware, you may find some ice-cream stains on the race seat or a used chewing gum sticking in the middle of the screen.
I dont think i’ve ever seen an official corporate contest offering something “used” as first prize :wink:

What a better way to dispose of hardware that was used for public demos than to give it away? I approve!

There is only one ribbon for Spa in the game, so if you race that you’re good.

I like seeing these contest but find it hard to bring myself to enter. When they always judge based on fastest lap times, there is nothing wrong with that, but I know I simply cannot win. It’s always the same handful of people that are exceptionally good and dominate the in-game leaderboards that do this and set the best times or the best line through the corner… Oh well…

I think the rules, emphasising including Eau Rouge are basically saying if you cut the corner like everybody does online, then your lap won’t count - your wheels need to be in between the white lines at each side of the track through the whole complex.
