It’s the last Week in Review of February and we are reviewing it.
Harold Ramis, RIP. What was your favorite movie of his? As much as I love Groundhog Day and Ghostbusters, I think I have to go with Caddyshack, one of the most “rewatchable” comedies of all time.

Love the photos, the yellow ferrari looks great! I also like the Viper picture the effects are just right. Congrats to the Venom too i remember reading a post about that the day it set the record!

Great read, Mech! My favorite movie of Ramis has to be Caddyshack; With Rodney Dangerfield, the gopher-obsessed groundskeeper played by Bill Murray gopher, and the gopher, it’s funny to watch especially the end! I’m not a fan of Twitter, however, on the same day I will finally get my XB1, which I had to order from BestBuy.com due a problem with ordering from GameStop’s website! The Honda Challenge seems like it will be fun to take part in since I missed out on the CBH. Also, nice job Hennessey on breaking the record, displaying the power of the LS engine!
Great WIR and great week for Forza in general. Had lots of fun trying to chase down Triton in the CBH, but sadly, just couldn’t get fast enough to catch him in the end. I did improve my time substantially though from where I started and managed to beat John, Fred, Ian and yes, Brian. Congrats to all those that were skilled and fast enough. Looking forward to the next CBH!
Very sad to hear about Harold Ramis though. He was a great mind and a very talented person. RIP! I think my quote from my favorite movie of his, Stripes, goes pretty nicely here seeing as though the CBH was in Wisconsin.

I am really excited about the Hennessey Venom. I hope they do find a longer test site and they end up setting the record even higher!! Nice article John, thanks for writing it.

And it’s sweet to see the Hennessey venom gt finally showing what it can do I knew 3 years ago that this was the veyron killer and look what do you know lol i have been waiting for 3 years to see this run always was a big fan of it. The vmax was showing even at 270 it was still pulling 1 mph a second John Hennessey said if he had one more mile it would have hit between 275 to 280 and I believe so. This is why in Forza games the Hennessey venom should be faster than the veyron not stuck at 267 but congrats to Hennessey thanks for the read.
Not being a complete fan of the film maker. Caddyshack was a very funny film.
As for the Venom world record attempt, It has to be a two way best average for me to be a record.
How many times have you ran a speed camera to get the best time ??

The CBH was a brutal reminder that I need to work on driving other cars besides the Lotus F1 car. It also displayed the stark differences between Thrustmaster and Fanatec pedal technology. I had a horrific time braking the Viper consistently with the TM wheel.
On another note. Did we get a clue to our next track release? A performance racing school in Ohio. I don’t want to spill the beans if I am correct so I will leave my own clue. A diabetic driver in a DHL sponsored car featured in FM5 won there last year. I have some cool video and photos from that weekend I could share if there is away to post them.
I usually have my “Serienabend” where we only drive cars in stock and
we mostly do this on dlc-tuesday.
So I might stream that to shwo the world that racing with “stock” cars can
also be big fun

I believe even if Hennessey does a two way top speed record Guinness wont accept it for two main reasons because the engine is a heavily modified Corvette engine and the body is a Lotus Elise modified ,so I dont think Guinness can recognise it as a production car even if more than 30 vehicles were made.

With records like the fastest production car, to obituaries like the death of Harold Ramis, this sure is a very big week! Because I don’t have a 'One, I can’t do a Twitch stream. The bounty challenge was sure to be very difficult (Road America is a very challenging track, in my opinion!)
To tie in with the Civic Challenge, I’d like the Mugen Civic unicorn in FM4.

As for Twitch? Those who know or have heard of TORA will know we do a lot with Twicth and other associated streaming sites for our major international endurance events. Being able to stream direct from console is great because it gives us a lot more flexibility in streams and more choice for the viewer.
If this release were to tie in with the reintroduction of a Forza Spectator Mode the possibilities for communities to stream their events live would be massive. It’d take Forza to a whole new level of esports publicity.
Hopefully, something like that is in the pipeline. When you get in the region of 16,000 views over a 24hr race you knwo you’re doing something right
I loved Harold Ramis, and all his work. Groundhog Day is one of my favourite films, watched it many times, which is some kinda weird paradox to live! lol. Ghostbusters is a classic film for so many reasons, and Harold knew exactly how to get the most out of the film. It’s sad he died before Ghostbusters 3 was made, but they are apparently still going to do it so fingers crossed. Right now i Imagine he’s just hanging out with Slimer and enjoying the afterlife! I still have my Stay Puft marshmallow man from when i was a kid. There is a tenuous link between it and me that my family all think is funny, so i had to keep it. lol
Twitch streaming I might use to just for showing of those stupid tunes i used to build for comps. Like the really bouncy cars or the ones with no brakes. They were always fun to make people use, so i may do that…
I’ll also be watching lots of streams from groups like Tora or 2old4Forza when they host events, online racing in Forza will come alive with twitch streaming. Suddenly thousands of people can spectate the race from different drivers viewpoints, just like with formula 1 on the TV, only Forza racing is actually interesting, while Formula 1 has turned into a manufacturers procession event. So Twitch can only mean good things for Forza whether you like to produce or watch content.
Also what is this robot game you mention, i’ve heard absolutely nothing about that…
Well. I got off to a terrible start with the Bounty Hunters xD I drove for so long and I wasn’t even close. I tell ya, it’s that new corner at the bottom of the track, messes me up every time 
Ahhh, here’s to hoping I do better next time.
