Great WIR. Sad to hear about the Corvettes. I saw many of them 9 years ago when I visited the museum. Good to know that GM is going to help out with the restoration of all the cars, not just the two that were theirs. Glad it happened in the wee hours of the morning though, there easily could have been 50+ people in that area if it had happened when the museum was open.
It’s happened before. A man died in Florida about a year ago when a massive sinkhole opened under his bedroom while he was sleeping. Not unheard of, and listening to the news conferences from the NCM, sinkholes happen frequently in Kentucky, and Bowling Green is only about 20 miles away from Mammoth Cave National Park, the longest known cave system in the world.
