when I drove my evo 6 I thought it sounded different . in this video this is how it used to sound . at the 5 min mark is when he starts driving it.
We were not made aware of any such change. Are you certain it isn’t because of any upgrades you have installed?
no i didn’t change my parts or tune. when the car would get around 6000 rpm it would make that sound.
Well, if the sounds were updated then so be it. However, I wouldn’t anticipate any sort of official confirmation on that inquiry of yours.
I’ve never used the stock engine in the Evo 6 so I can’t really tell…
it seems like it happened with the february update . a few videos I looked at that were posted in February don’t make the sound any more .
