Since T10 is ignoring the threads in the “support” forum about this topic, I’ll post this here to warn you prospective buyers of this pack. DO NOT BUY IT IN IT’S CURRENT STATE.
You will not get VIP or ANY FREE cars from the car packs (with exception of the infinity). What you will get is the Porsche Expansion, Nascar Expansion, and car packs (that must be purchased with in-game credits, contrary to what T10 has done in the past with it’s DLC.)
And no, hard resetting, pulling out the cord and waiting 10 seconds doesn’t work. Uninstalling and redownloading from the in-store Forza Marketplace doesn’t work. Crossing your fingers while doing a 360 no look hard reset while spinning in your office chair won’t work either.
Turn 10 hasn’t responded and Microsoft support has been less than useless. Do real Turn 10 employee’s still even read these forums, or do “Moderators” just respond with the company line?
There you can read about the all the Forza fans that bought the pack that are having the exact same problem. If your on the fence about buying it, DON’T. Until we get some official word it’s been fixed stay away, stay far away.
Or you can buy the game and just play it without the bonus credits / free cars. In the time you took resetting, uninstalling and reinstalling you would have made millions of credits if you would just have played the game instead. Of course it should have to work properly but it’s real easy to earn credits in this game.
Your opinion is rather insulting, considering that myself and many others paid a premium for a product that isn’t working like it’s suppose too. I don’t care how “easy” it is earn I credits. I paid for something I did not receive.
Of course you contradict yourself in the same post by saying it should work properly.
Why did you even comment? What value did your post bring to this discussion?
I purchased this on 25th February and have the same problem. I have submitted a violation report to Microsoft for misrepresentation in statements made by them… Once the pack is purchased, you are granted a one-time only, free addition of each car to your Forza Motorsport 6 garage, with no additional cost. I’m sure they won’t reply to one submission of violation, but if everyone, whether purchased or not, submits a violation, then maybe they will pay attention, also I rated this add on as a one star, because I did get Porsche and Nascar cars in my garage, so if everyone starts rating at one star, then maybe the developers will pay attention also. The person that stated we can use credits to purchase cars is correct and at this point I wished I had done that. But as pointed out, we have paid the money after reading what we were going to get and that’s what we should have. Can I urge everyone that reads this, to submit a violation report and down rate the add on, also make sure your Forza 6 friends know of this.
Contradict myself how? I wasnt saying that it’s okay that you don’t get what you have paid for, but if you play the game without the bonusses until T10 solves this issue you’ll see that the credits from the VIP bonus is small compared with the millions you’ll win from prize spins that you’ll get from leveling up.
Turn 10 gives everyone that buys the DLC packs the cars for FREE on the account that bought that them. Myself and many others are reporting the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, DOWN TO THE EXACT CARS THAT ARE FREE AND EXCLUDED, UP TO AND INCLUDING VIP STATUS NOT BEING GRANTED WHEN IT’S BEING PAID FOR.
Earning credits is not part of the problem, nor the solution. If you actually read my post and thread I linked perhaps you’d understand what was going on.
I’m not playing the game, period, until I hear something from a Turn 10 or Microsoft rep. I want to play the content, I love game. But if they can’t deliver on all things they promised I will be requesting a refund from Microsoft and making sure everyone in every Forza forum online is aware of the scam that is going on.
User’s in the post I linked to reported this happening early last week. Turn 10 has not responded to anyone, in any thread, on twitter, or via email.
What gives? Why are they ignoring this?
Justifying this business practice by saying “just play the game, you’ll earn the credits in no time” excuses the behavior.
If this had happened to you I’d hope you wouldn’t roll over and take it. Because guess what, this will happen again to someone else, and it will happen in the next Forza game if they are allowed to get away with it.
Relax, he’s just pointing out that the thing that’s stopping you from playing is actually pretty meaningless and of very little value, due to the way the in-game economy works. He’s not justifying it or standing up for Turn10, simply advising you that it’s probably not as much of a show-stopper as you think it is.
I’ve been playing Forza for years, I’m quite aware of how the in-game economy works. The pack I bought included VIP status, which is not working, and the ability to download each car from all included car packs once per account. I paid real money for these benefits, it is a “show-stopper” as you so eloquently put it.
Turn10’s silence on this issue is the most concerning thing about this whole ordeal. If only one representative from their company would remark on this fiasco I would be pleased, so I would know the next course of action to take.
If you’re ok with Turn10 and Microsoft screwing around with their customers, then you are part of the problem, not the solution.
You’ll get no argument from me that Turn10’s unwillingness to respond to this or every other issue is pretty disgraceful - it absolutely is - but that doesn’t change the fact that you’re getting your panties in a big knot over an issue that would make almost 0 practical difference to your enjoyment of the game.
It’s like if you bought a new car and refused to drive it because it was delivered with no washer fluid, rather than spend the 3 minutes it would take to put washer fluid in it. Of course you’d be perfectly within your rights to do that, but you’d be an idiot if you did.

So I’m an “angry little man and an idiot” for expecting the product that I paid for, to actually be what it is?
Your analogy of the “3 minute washer fluid” story is an utterly preposterous comparison to the actual situation.
No, not at all. You’re an angry little man for responding to those players (on a player-to-player forum) who have advised you in good faith that it’s probably not as bad as you think it is with aggression and abuse. You’re an idiot because you’re having a tantrum out of all proportion to the problem, in a place where the only people who will read it are not the people who can do anything about it.
Advising someone that it’s probably not as bad as it is, is basically condoning the bait-and-switch theft that occurred to those of us that purchased the complete add on pack.
At no point have I ever made a post in this forum responding to someone with aggression or abuse in it. No tantrums are occurring here. You make it seem as if it is unreasonable for someone to expect to be provided a product that they paid for.
And the people here can’t do anything about it? LMAO. Do you have a clue where you are? Judging from your opinions and grammar, probably not.
Only reply if you have something to add to the conversation instead of calling me names and the “git gud”, “play moar” mentality you have.
Mommy and Daddy probably bought you all the DLC when it came out, so stay in your lane child.
To be fair, if something is advertised as the “Complete” edition it should probably have everything in it. That’s the crux of Killmoar’s argument here.
Have you tried looking up the missing items in the Microsoft Store to see if you can download them without paying?
I’ve tried doing that multiple times. Uninstalling the content and installing directly from the Microsoft Store, and then uninstalling and installing from the in game marketplace.
Hard resets, unplugging the power cable, etc…each method produced the same results. No free car packs, no VIP benefits or titles.
Nappy,
I am going to have to agree with you 100%. If you buy something you should get it, no doubt about it. Now, I know you should get it right away, but, I know this is not the answer and it should not be like this. I see where you are coming from, maybe there is a certain car you would like or something else. Give it a few days. I have waited up to 4 days for reward credits. Give them the benefit of the doubt for a few days. Maybe they are unaware of the situation. There is no need to argue with anyone. I was missing a loyalty car when I first installed the game. 4 days later it showed up. Sometimes I have had to manually install things. Did you go to manage game and see if anything was waiting to be installed?
