If it a DLC car he won’t be able to get it even if you gift it. As far as I know.
2 parts to this question.
(1) - He may not be able to afford the Escalade. Remember some people aren’t as rich as the rest.
(2) - I assume he has it downloaded, I may well be wrong, but to ask for one, chances are that it has been downloaded.
This isn’t barely a viable excuse… You can easily make 100K in a 2 minutes race with the third sets of those outpost races (or whatever they’re called, I stopped playing the game for over a year).
Not sure about the money thing.

I have to be honest, I was extremely tired when I wrote that reply, so he should be able to afford one, I agree. My bad, lol

I’m fine with that. 
I remember when I grinded 10 millions in 4 hours to buy a Ferrari 250 GTO. I couldn’t believe how simple it is to earn credits by racing in this game compared to all Forza Motorsport games. XD
