Wall Riding..

Hi guys,

I have had a little break from Forza due to wall riding annoying me greatly. Can anyone confirm if this has been looked at or even fixed?

It just spoils the race when someone goes flat out along the wall and gains places by not losing speed.

Any feedback appreciated.

Thanks,

You might as well extend your break mate, still as bad if not worse than it ever was.

I haven’t seen any wall riding done until yesterday from a RuF on Indie Speedway. Luckily karma got him and he screwed up and hit a small crack in the wall just to throw him deep into the slow grass. One easy fix Turn 10 could do for this for the next game is add slow walls (you touch the wall in certain points and it purposely slows you down) or put bumps on the walls to slow cars down.

I don’t know about “slow walls” since I’m not a fan of sticky grass, but I’m fine with increasing the friction of rubbing along walls.

That is essentially the exact same thing.

Best fix is if all of the wall riders xbox’ would just self destruct. Now that would be a youtube video i would watch over and over.

Best thing to do is just don’t race on those wall riding tracks in multiplayer.

Best thing to do is have custom public lobbies… Or a proper vote to kick option. Its amazing we still struggle to kick these type of people.

I don’t believe I’ve ever been re-paired with someone I blocked. I block a lot of people. Wreckers, wall riders, corner cutters. If all the clean drivers blocked the hacks and cheaters we would all just end up with enjoyable experiences in rooms of people who want to race.

Or we’ll end up in no rooms at all.

That possibility crossed my mind. I’m an optimist though.

New to forza just saying hello and was wondering. If everyone. Would gift me a touring car I don’t have any dlc. Also you add to friends. To race. Warhammer62. Thanks. Guy

firstly your off topic… secondly my good sir… you cannot gift cars to other players.

wish we could gift cars to friends cause i have two lotus e21s but only need one.

There should be something. The wall pattern on the start/finish on Sebring would be ideal. There are edges on it that catch the car and make it crash. If this happened on the Alps, the walls are that far off the racing line it wouldn’t be an issue.

Same thing for Yas. There isn’t a spot on that track that would be neg affected by doing this. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard people complain about this but T10 is off taking pictures of car shows and putting them on the home page rather than listening to it’s community that is paying thier bills and putting thier kids through college. /steppingoffsoapbox
