Waiting for Match

go to Multiplayer Hoppers: all it does is waiting for Match…any help plz

this was suposed to be fix in a past update but i am seeing alot of problems with since the latest update. try a hard reboot. hold the power button on the console till it shuts down, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. at launch it was not fully signing you in so you had to clear the ram or it kept you signed in enough to be in live but not enough to be in the lobbies.

4 months i been playing forza 5 carreer and online, since 4/3/14 all its saids is waiting for match.
I can do Rivals and go to tunesup.
I go play carreer and its still saying waiting for match when i’m not trying to play online

Any Help plz

One possibility is you have your console on instant on mode and you have not quit Forza 5 recently.

Try backing out to the first forza menu and go to dash. Then on the main, large forza 5 tile press menu button and choose quit.

If that doesn’t work try a cold boot by holding power button on console for 5 secs.

When i go to play multiplayer i select the Unlimited Drift RWD and if i select anything else from multiplayer when it comes that thing for like WAITING FOR MATCH it gets stuck there and it sits with hours and it doesn’t want to put me in a match in any match tried drag, pass the it, keep the it, the abc’s tried everything but the WAITING FOR MATCH thing stays there and i can’t join any lobby anyone knows why and how can i fix it ?

Yep same problem. I have tried all different types of things. Changin router settings, cold boot reset router ect and still waiting for match. I can join my friend in a private lobby no problems but i am still having this problem and tbh soon it will put me off forza 5. I don’t see the point in comin on forza now just to see the same waiting for match

NAT setting has to be open or your just gonna sit there trying to get into a lobby.

Ive done that several times and done all different kind of combinations ie router before xbox boot router and xbox boot, and xbox boot then my router. Nothin has worked?

is your nat setting “open”?

Are you with Virgin? If so enable ipsec in your router.
