VIP not working after upgrade to Platinum

I recently worked with Microsoft Support to upgrade to the Platinum Edition of FM6 from the Ultimate Edition of FM6. They refunded me my cost of Ultimate and then I purchased Platinum. Prior to upgrading, I had no issues with VIP or the game. Now after the upgrade I am not receiving double race credits and no longer marked with the crown after my Gamertag. Forza 6 VIP is downloaded and shows as installed.

Some of the troubleshooting steps I performed with Microsoft Support and on my own include:

  1. Verify VIP shows as installed in the Marketplace and in the game hub.
  2. Resetting the console.
  3. Removed and reinstalled VIP multiple times.
  4. Removing my profile from my Xbox and re-adding it.
  5. Reset my console back to Factory Settings (keeping games and apps).
  6. Hard reset by shutting down console and unplugging from power.
  7. Uninstalling all DLC packs and then reinstalling them.

So far none have worked on getting me back the VIP status so I can continue to earn the double money that I payed for.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I just bought platinum version myself and the dlc, porch and Nascar downloaded fine. Everything else didnt. Says it did in my downloads but no cars, no vip, etc. Even says I’ve purchased in the marketplace of the game itself but cannot get cars. Please help. Have done all the resets reinstalls. Payed A LOT for this.
