I’m asking for a way to purchase another car pass for a second account on my X1.
When i try to purchase it, i get the msg: already installed…
Any idea to make it possible?
Are you by any chance logged in with your main account? If yes, try logging out. If you are not logged in with any account owning the content in question, there should be a purchase option.
Go to xbox.com and purchase it there…
Cant be done from the console if an account on the profile already has it
2nd profile should already have access to the dlc car packs (not vip though) but will need to use ingame credits to buy the cars
If you want to waste real money and buy the dlc car packs for the 2nd profile you can do that at xbox.com as well

I’ve done this for my son on 5 and FH 2. It’s not that hard. I did it last week for 6.
Go to settings and change Xbox to NOT “My home Xbox.”
Menu button on Forza 6 and choose “Manage Game”. Uninstall the Car Pass and/or VIP. Whichever you’re trying to purchase for the second account. You don’t have to uninstall the main game or the car packs.
Sign out. Sign in under other account. Buy and install Car Pass and/or VIP. Let them install.
Sign in original account. Change Xbox back to “My home Xbox”.
Done.

Or just do it on xbox.com and not have to uninstall or mess with anything on your xbox.

Or this way and don’t have to leave the room, get off the couch, or fire up the laptop. Just providing an alternative, not trying to get into a, “what’s the right way,” debate. Different strokes for different folks.

could probably do it using smartglass on your mobile phone or tablet as well
